Le Panoramic Boutique Hôtel

The view was truly amazing! Our window overlooked the entire city. It made our balcony a great place to relax during sunset. The staff and owners went above and beyond and each of them were incredibly kind. They helped us navigate through the city of Nice. The room itself was comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend!

The view is not directly of the sea, but is stunning nonetheless. It is important to note that you must be able to walk 10 minutes up and down the hill to reach public transport. It is a fairly easy walk, and the staff will be happy to direct you.

The view was amazing and being able to sit out on the veranda and enjoy the view was very peaceful. The room was clean and cute, nice decor. Breakfast was good and the sitting room was lovely. It would have been nice to enjoy a drink in the evening but there was no one there to open the fridge and if you bring your own bottle of wine, you can’t find a bottle opener. It is a long steep walk up the last hill (it is too far to walk from Vieux Ville) and the bus schedule is unreliable so definitely recommend taking an Uber to first get there.

There weren’t really any dividers on the balconies so no privacy if your neighbours happened to be out at the same time. The room was extremely small and we could only open our suitcases on the bed, so when it was time to sleep, we had to pack up our suitcases and put them in the closet. This was a cute old house with zero soundproofing, so if you are a light sleeper, this could be a problem for you.

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful terraces along the stairs winding down to each of the rooms. Some were right by a specific room but others were along the path or side of the hotel so even the inside rooms could come out and enjoy the view. Perfect place to read a book or sit with friends. We had breakfast at the hotel twice. Delicious food with a panoramic view of the city. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We booked three rooms and all of them were comfortable.

We spent a lot of time in Old Nice so it was a bit far (we knew that when we booked though. The vibes and the price were worth it to us!). It made up for it by being away from the bustle of all the tourists though. It's a very peaceful location. You can take the bus, tram, or taxi. We ended up taking an Uber into town pretty often for the convenience. The bus stop is right outside, the tram station is nearby down the hill.

We spent four days here with four people and we had a great time. Le Panoramic is a lovely hotel and we felt right at home here. The room was big enough, nicely decorated and very clean. Plus, it had a great view over the city and a comfortable terrace to spend some time. The hotel is located in a beautiful building, in a nice area of the city. You can take a bus to the center of town, or use the stairs to get to one of the tram stops (quite a lot of stairs, to be honest, but that's perfect if you want an active vacation). The breakfast was very nice and every morning we received more than enough to eat. The staff was very friendly and helped us out whenever necessary. So we would definitely consider coming back here if we would visit Nice again.

We arrived in Nice after an underwhelming experience at our previous destination. We were late to the accommodation but what a blessing when we finally arrived and managed to catch Gino (owner) before he left. He was accommodating and extremely helpful from the get go. He advised us on how everything works in Nice, transport to take and some sites to see. This was all put down on a map provided by him as we checked in. We loved this place. It was clean and comfortable and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nice.

It would have been nice to have a little bit more for breakfast ie cheese or cold meats. However, everything was freshly baked and we were still provided with breakfast the morning that we left which was very early. Gino made a plan for us which was amazing. It is a bit of travel from the airport so make sure to follow the directions that Gino sends. They are the quickest and cheapest.

We loved everything from the amazing location, the beautiful design of rooms, the delicious breakfast and dinner to the very sweet and friendly hotel owners, Gino and Valerie. Gino and Valerie were very helpful with tips regarding which places to visit. We were arriving late after closing hours, and prior to our arrival we got detailed instructions regarding how to get in and where to park. We highly recommend eating dinner at the Panoramic hotel as Gino's food tastes better than what some the of expensive restaurants in Nice can offer! It was a very cosy vacation for us, and we are definitely coming back to Gino and Valerie next time we are in southern France!

"Breakfast included" is a small continental breakfast, and you have to pay extra for upgrading it to American.

Spectacular views. Very helpful friendly team/staff. Lovely breakfast. Buses run from/to outside the hotel (until around 7pm). Uber is very easy after that if you don’t want to walk. Parking was easy on the street outside the hotel.

Nothing! If I was to stay again I would have a room with a terrace so we could enjoy the views even more. Our room was close to reception which was a little noisy at breakfast time but it really didn’t bother us as we were up anyway.

Stunning views across Nice. The hotel has a real charm, the owners were so friendly and welcoming. The gent on the night we arrived gave us loads of great travel advice. The family room was very spacious.

It’s does need some TLC. The bathroom is tired and outdoor furniture needs replaced, slightly unstable.. however, we appreciate it’s only 2star so were not expecting luxury, we were very happy with the hotel. It will most likely need to improvements over the next few years though.

The view is truly panoramic. The owners are genuinely lovely. The location of the hotel means that you are going to really have to interact with Nice, using the public transport etc which is a positive. Or stay for just a day to take advantage of that amazing view.

The logistics of getting to and from the hotel. You have to work closely with public transport and work your daily activities around the schedules. There are good and bad aspects to this. The patio in the photo is not for public use. The restaurant (understandably) is only open if the owners have five reservations or more.

Everyone who works here are incredibly helpful and polite. Felt like a home away from home. The scenery was absolutely incredible, the rooms were clean and well-kept, and the breakfast room was well decorated. One of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed in.

The hills can be a bit steep to traverse but if you don’t want to climb the stairs, there’s a bus available that will drop you off right in front of the property.
