Cons: No one guided where is the room and atleast they could have told which block it is. I asked to give the same room booked for 2 days but two seperate bookings , unfortunately they accepted and next day astonishingly they had allocated different room , so had to shift whole of our luggage from 4th floor. Dint find a shower room for next day. Breakfast was complimentary but bread was hard enough to limit for 1.

First of all, I don't think you can get a better location than this, it's just perfect: next to place du Bastille, which means close to shops, one of the most lively nightlife areas of Paris, next to the center and all attractions, me and my friend have basically walked everywhere. We took the metro only for fun (which by the way is 200m away from hostel) Even from the Flixbus station at Bercy-Seine where we arrived to Paris from Eindhoven we could just walk about 2 km to the hostel. For two 22-year old girls, its all you need, and it even says that in the name, 'hostel for young people'. The room was very basic but it has everything you need, good surprise that you have a sink and a mirror, the toilet is again basic but it does the job, the breakfast didn't matter to us because we wanted to have something from a French authentic boulangerie anyways. And I think the best part was the staff - In the 2 nights we've spent we had 4 different persons at the reception and they were all amazing! very nice, polite, helpful, cheerful. Keep up the great work guys! Value for money and considering the fact that we booked it literally 5 days before departure - 10/10

Just one tip for perfect hostel experience - bring a bedsheet and pillowcase.

The staff was really friendly and open to questions, breakfast included, not so far from de center with metro, the neighborhood pretty safe and clean. The bedroom was ok for a hostel, not the prettiest, but it was not bad.

The room only had 2 chargers, and a bit of water was coming out of from the sink. Also, the lower bed was too close to the bottom of the top one, so for someone higher than 1.64 cm it's a small place.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The 24/7 reception desk was also good. The location was decent as it was only 10 minutes to place de la Bastille where you could catch metro line 1 to the centre. It was also fairly near Notre dame, the nearest tourist attraction

Breakfast was pretty bad, only a small dry baguette with a small pack of butter and jam. There is however tea and coffee.

Convenient for early train from Gare de Lyon. A typical hostel - basic single room, toilet and shower along the corridor both clean and setviceable. Simple breakfast was included but I was leaving early - I was able to get a bread roll and butter, carton of orange juice and hot water in my thermos cup to make tea on the teain - very helpful.

The room was clean, the staff were pretty friendly and the location was excellent - there is a metro close by and Ile St. Louis is pretty much within walking distance. There are many restaurants and patisseries in the surrounding area that I would recommend, and a Carrefour nearby too - so an excellent location! The hostel breakfast was ample and satisfying, and I definitely recommend taking full advantage of the baguette and madeleine provided. The rooms were actually quite cool; we booked a four person room, which was spread over two floors connected by a staircase, with two beds on each floor. I don't know what the communal showers / bathrooms were like, but our room had a private bathroom and I found virtually no faults with our room - so I'd definitely recommend!

We found the noise at night to be a little disturbing at first but we soon got used to it! Also, the noise meant that we were able to be noisy ourselves and nobody minded!!!! Some of the reviews online were very negative but I found no evidence for their claims. I did however find the blanket provided a little uncomfortable and I would recommend bringing a sleeping bag liner/blanket if you are someone who struggles to relax in a new bed. Make sure you bring towels and soap!

I liked the price and location was good and close to Metro stops

The beds were terrible: I understand that they are for young people but it was almost comical! I highly recommend that breakfast (included) feature in addition to the bread, butter, box of juice a FRUIT such as a BANANA (available all over Paris at less than 1 Euro) or an APPLE, to encourage healthy eating !

The location is not the best, however there is a metro station nearby so if you need to go somewhere - no problem. Our room was double - comfortable enough, the shower was empty so no problem.

I'd check the key-card system, our cards were not working good enough, it took time to get into the room. Also there is not elevator, so it was kinda hard to get to 4th floor with our luggage.

We had a really nice stay here! The bathrooms and the room are clean and the beds are comfy! But the best thing about Auberge Internationale des Jeunes is the location!!! Tons of Cafés and Restaurant around and many nice stores! The train station is also very close and you can get to the main pots in paris pretty fast, which is great!

The breakfast wasn’t available sometimes (even if you came during breakfast time) and the bed wiggled a lot

Pretty good room for 2 people. It provides what you expect from a hostel. It's nice to have a sink in the room. It is good that the rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast is adequate.

Having a toilet on each floor can sometimes be a problem. The cabinets in the room are not good. The absence of an elevator can sometimes be tiring for those on the 4th floor. The lack of air conditioning in the room can cause problems in summer. Also, it's kind of ridiculous to leave the card at the reception every time you leave the hostel.
