EVERYTHING ABOUT HOTEL BAUME WAS A PLEASURE. THE STAFF IS PROFESIONAL, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. AMENITIES WERE VERY NICE, ACCOMODATIONS WERE LOVELY & LOCATION IS EXCEPTIONAL. WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN

PERHAPS A MORE VARIED ROOM SERVICE MENU FOR DINNER. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS, BUT THE SELECTIONS WERE FEW. OTHER THAN THAT, THERE WERE NO AREAS THAT NEEDED IMPROVEMENT.

The location of this property is excellent . Only a short walk from the Luxembourg line if arriving from CDG airport . Staff are frisky and helpful . Housekeeping saw the birthday cards and a thoughtful gesture was 2 glasses of champagne and a handwritten note

We had a unique room which was small but well equipped. What makes it special is the balcony you can sit out on ( room 12) . The only downside was that the balcony was dirty . I filled a survey to the manager on the first day . In fairness they replied straight away and said they would look into it . We were there 4 nights and although the room was spotless no attempt was made to sweep the balcony . This maybe was more about maintenance than housekeeping

The location of the hotel was perfect. Close to many shops, restaurants, cafés and the metro! The staff was lovely and very friendly. The rooms were large, lots of storage space, and we had a view of the Oden theater, which was stunning! It was quiet for being a smaller hotel too! Overall great hotel, would stay here again!

The price of the tiny bottles of water. 4 euros was a little much for those, they could have been complimentary and there wasn't a coffee machine in the room either. That would have been nice to enjoy

Jungle shower and comfortable bed and nice interior. Staff was extremely friendly and kind. Good location for transport and plenty of restaurants.

The room insulation isn't the best so you hear everything your upstairs and side neighbours do, which is irritating when they arrive late at night and you are trying to sleep. The pipes are also quite loud and for some reason the towel hangers are set to 1.90m??? I'm a short person so I really struggled to hang my towels. Another thing that irked me was that the overall lights of the room are warm except the bedside table lights, those are cold. So when you go to turn on the ambient lights at night you get two different light sources which for my light sensitive eyes was not ideal.

Original room booked was a door off the bar with a window that was the smoking terrace. For £400 a night I would have expected not have to to worry abour the noise at night from the bar area. Very small room also. We spoke with reception and were offered to upgrade for an additional £150 a night! We negotiated given the size and location of the original room and settled on an amount and we were moved. Hotels location is PERFECT for getting around and lovely little local restuarants made up for this. We stayed for 3 nights, bed was comfortable and room was clean. Bathroom on the small size but we didnt spend much time in the room. I would return with a discount.

The hotel is incredibly well located, within a few minutes walk of Notre Dame, close to both a Metro and an RER station, and near to a range of shops, bars and restaurants. The room was clean, well appointed, and warm. The bed was comfortable. The seating area by Reception was welcoming, and there was free hit chocolate, mulled wine, and cake each afternoon!

The service for the breakfast was very slow, such that we had to wait 15 minutes for an empty table to be cleared, and another 15 minutes before any food was served. Then, it was stone cold, and there was no cutlery to eat it with anyway!

This was a fabulous boutique hotel located on what can only be described as a Parisian film set. with the gorgeous unspoilt odeon theatre viewed from the balcony of our room or on exiting the building itself, to the serene jardins de Luxembourg only 5 minutes walk and the Louvre 15 minutes walk away. the hotel was lovely, clean and offered massage facilities for ourselves and the children, very family friendly hotel. staff was amazing, they could not do enough for us and made my daughters birthday and our anniversary a very special trip. breakfast was very continental but lovely. rooms were clean and decor superb. A true little gem of a hotel in an amazing part of Paris, that hasn’t been commercially overrun! it truly did exceed all our expectations!!!

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for us, close to everything by foot (metro, bars, restaurants, cafés) but not on a busy street, and not in an overly touristy area. The room was a bit small but comfortable and quiet.

Water leaked from the shower out to the floor when we took showers. Other than that, we had an amazing stay.

Hotel Baume is very nice, lovely decor, friendly staff, super location. The service was outstanding at reception, breakfast, etc.

The thing that would have made it better is small attentions such as turn down service or treat in the room like small chocolates or macaron at night time. Or at the end of day a complementary glass of wine or champagne in the Salon. I have stayed in comparable establishments in Paris and other cities and those attentions make the hotels stand out.

the hotel (lobby, lounge and rooms) are truly beautifully decorated. the rooms are comfortable and well thought, with great storage options, comfortable bedding and quality toiletries. the bathroom was modern and the shower large and so well thought. the staff was very kind and helpful. loved the « honest bar », where you can serve yourself and leave a note for your tab with the reception. but more than anything, it is located on a quiet in the heart of the left bank, a few minutes from great restaurants in st-germain or from the jardin du Luxembourg. the location is fabulous.

unfortunately, my neighbours upstairs were very noisy up until late at night. the walls and floors are thin, like many other Parisian hotels. the shower dripped at random times. very minor disturbances overall
