The hotel is a lovely traditional Parisian accommodation in a great location. Situated a short walk from Odeon Station, and also around the corner from the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens, the hotel provides the perfect base for a stay in Paris. There are a some great cafés and restaurants nearby the hotel. Highly recommend a lovely place called Treize for a great breakfast or brunch, a short walk away from the hotel and opposite Luxembourg Gardens. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend Le Senat as a good place to stay for a visit to Paris.

The room was smaller than expected but adequately equipt for a comfortable stay. The main entrance to the hotel is locked later in the evening, we had to wait a while before the night receptionist came to let us in. The lift is tiny and dark so felt a bit claustrophobic going up four floors!

A superb location. Wonderful staff. Very good service. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was all right but limited, they serve nice french cakes, though.

The room is very small and the hotel is a bit old.

Proximity to everything - easy walking. Metro close by, Luxembourg gardens & St Germain. I couldn’t really fault this hotel - friendly helpful staff. Self service bar available. This is our return visit after 10 years.

Small rooms but prime location = cost/size. No coffee machine in room. I suspect a victim of COVID cost changes. This is the only place on our 6 week trip to Italy northern Spain & France that didn’t have one available in the room. There was a machine downstairs for a €2 cost/ cup. We don’t like to do anything or see anyone before a coffee in the mornings.

Amazing stay near park of Luxembourg, plenty of good restaurants around. Staff was very nice, checked us in early and also upgraded the room (we had attic room with two floors, just a dream!). Breakfast was good as well, with exception that it did not have vegetable milk ( I am lactose intolerant). By the end of stay receptionist offered us to leave the luggage until our transport, which was really kind. Definitely would return. One more plus - they have l’occitane toiletries in the room , which is fantastic (I love this brand 😄)

One electric socket was not working in our room. Also room did not have sockets by each side of the bed, which nowadays is a minus, as we need to charge phones overnight.

The hotel is wonderfully located, the staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms themselves are lovely but a touch on the small side. It’s Paris and rooms do tend to be on the expensive and small side. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel as it’s wonderful and the area it’s in is beautiful.

The room was incredibly clean and the space for a standard double room was greater than expected. The bed was extremely comfortable and spacious. Staff were also extremely welcoming and accommodating both upon arrival as well as beforehand - a quick questionnaire was sent out to understand any relevant needs of the guests prior to arrival which was very useful. After checkout, we enquired about leaving the luggage at the hotel's reception for a couple of hours which was facilitated promptly and at no extra cost. The location of the hotel itself is great - closest metro being Odéon, on the Metro (line 4) which is a direct route from Gare du Nord. The surroundings of the hotel lead just to the Luxembourg Palace's Gardens which is a beautiful place, close to trending neighbourhoods such as St Germain des Pres and the Latin Quarter. One of the best stays in Paris for us so far!

Hotel Le Senat was great! The staff was all very kind and willing to answer any questions we had. Before arriving the hotel emailed us to fill out a questionnaire and we were able to request restaurant recommendations as well as toothbrush kits. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options including yogurts, fresh fruit, assorted pastries, breads (chocolate bread, bacon bread, lemon bread, etc.), bacon, eggs, cold cuts along with Nutella and jams at each table. For drinks they had coffee, tea, water and fruit juices(orange, grapefruit & apple). They also had coffee and other drinks for sale in the lobby. The room itself was very comfortable. It came equipped with a safe and a mini fridge with 2 water bottles, 2 cans of coke, 2 cans of diet coke, 1 bottle of fruit juice and a bottle of sparkling water.) We forgot to ask if these were complimentary so I would ask before receiving any unwanted charges. The bathroom was clean and came equipped with a bar of hand soap, 2 bottles of shampoo, 1 bottle of conditioner, 2 bottles of shower gel, a shower cap and a small nail kit. Lastly, the location was great! All the main attractions were between 15 to 20 minutes by car.

Out of everything during our stay I only have 2 very minor complaints. The elevator is small and our bathroom doors had broken locks. That's it. Overall, everything was great!

The localization is amazing. You can get to a lot of famous places and restaurants just by walking. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, especially one of the front desk staff that was a girl with short hair! Very very helpful and cordial.

Some rooms are very close and you can hear a bit of the noises coming from other guests. But nothing that really bother that much

Breakfast was excellent, spotless clean room. Very kind staff

There were 2 bathrooms, one had the toilet only the other one had the rest facilities.

Rooms on top floor have a view across the roof tops of Paris with a clear view of the Sacred Heart, and views of the top third of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. Location near a selection of restaurants and quite quiet.

The breakfast was located in the basement with no windows and near housekeeping stores and relatively basic although the food good but with a number of cafes close by might want to consider whether to add breakfast to the stay
