As a female solo traveller, i felt safe walking around the neighborhood at night. Even the hotel is located in the central area but where the hotel is located was not busy at all. you can easily walk to major attractions. i barely used metro during my 7 day stay, i did take buses tho. And i love the balcony.

small bathroom. the radiator (or maybe i just don't know how to use it)

The lift was a bonus, my room being on the 5th floor and already climbing the plentiful stairs in Paris...! My room had a balcony, which was a life saver. Quiet area, so after a busy day, the return to this Hotel was perfect. Do not skip breakfast if you plan on a day of sightseeing, you will not beat value for money. Besides the usual croissant and cheese and meats, eggs, bacon sausage, yogurt, fruit salad, and lots of coffee... a win!! Staff are helpful no matter the time. Rooms are clean, and daily service ensures it stays that way. I have read complaints of thin walls and noise but for me that is part and parcel of budget travelling. Not a massive issue in my books. If the Odeon restaurant is open on the square above it, do stop there for the vibe and coffee time. Metro and busses is 2min walk and sights a plenty around the Hotel to see. If you love art, the Louvre is close. Great little indoor marketplace down the street, too, and Luxembourg Gardens 3 min walk for a picnic. I sat doing art in the park. Do take note that they close at around 8 pm and do kick you out. Easiest metro is Odeon to reach Hotel. Like art nouveau feel... this Hotel has that feel. Like being close to art, perfect location for that!

No kettle. A big no-no for a late night coffee loving owl like me. But there is a kettle downstairs so not all is lost. Other than that superb if you are solo traveller on budget.

Location was second to none. The hotel was situated in a quiet street, however, if you walk out 5 minutes on foot, you're greeted with lots of restaurants and shops. It was also very close to the Metro and Luxembourg Gardens. The hotel, room and bathroom was also spotlessly clean. There were amenities like shower gel, soap and hairdryer provided. With many comments alluding to the lack of air conditioning and kettle, our room had a standing fan and a kettle. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and helpful. We were always greeted with a smile and pleasantries. My husband came down with a stomach bug and they tried to contact a doctor who could help and gave suggestions on where else we could seek medical attention. A very comfortable stay and we would definitely recommend this clean, cosy hotel to anyone.

The rubbish bins in the room & bathroom weren't lined with a bin liner- I felt bad having to chuck rubbish in, and the poor room attendant having to clean it after me. Would be nice if a tissue box was provided too.

Beautiful and spacious room (triple room), big bathroom, very cute balconies. Perfect location very close to Odèon metro stop and at a walking distance from Louvre. The staff was incredibly nice, swift and helpful with any requests we had. We did not try the breakfast but all in all it looks more like a 3-star hotel than a 2-star, will definitely take it into account for the next trip to Paris. Thanks again to all the staff for being absolutely perfect!

Nothing to flag, our room was big enough for 3 people to fit comfortably but it was a triple, the single/double room are probably a bit small (but that's the case for almost any hotel in Paris, so I wouldn't consider it a con for this specific hotel).

2 minutes from a metro station, very close to many restaurants. Close to Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame. Walking distance to a shopping street and many sights. We mostly walked to visit main sights, so this location was perfect. One of the receptionists was extremely polite and spoke perfect English and Spanish. He was also very helpful. The room was very small but comfortable, had a small terrace with a nice view of Odeon Theatre. The room was very clean. Overall an extremely good choice for the price we paid.

With the other receptionist we had a problem on checkout (he had to fill something in on the computer but had no connection with the system) and we almost missed our transfer. This was provided that we had paid earlier to avoid delays and problems like this.

Brilliant location. Central yet peaceful. Lots of amenities nearby. Big window. Good sized single room with a larger single bed. Shower was a good size. I was fine with curtain not a screen. Water temperature and pressure both fine. All staff were kind, helpful and polite. Didn’t do breakfast there as lots of cafes nearby.

You get what you get. I thought it was good value and presentation and condition were fine. Some of the dividing walls for rooms are thin. That just means guests should be considerate and not shout having put their video calls on speaker.

Cute iron balcony with view of Odeon Theatre. Very clean (May have shut off AC as it was Sept30/Oct1)- warm but opened balcony door at night. Fairly quiet street so it was okay. Beautiful breakfast room and delicious breakfast with hot and cold options

Tiny elevator can fit two people close together but don’t try to also squeeze in your luggage. My friend and I squeezed in with our suitcases and got stuck. Door wouldn’t open until he practically crawled on top of the luggage. Room also very small. Barely enough room to walk around the bed. Bathroom isn’t much bigger than an airplane/ train toilet with a shower.

Carpet is clean, toilet is super clean and shiny. The guest toilet at the ground floor is beautiful. It is World Cup season and it’s so wonderful that the hotel shows soccer matches for free. Within walking distance to St Michel where we can find many restaurants selling halal food and the Jardin du Luxembourg Garden.

Lift is tiny, no electric kettle, no complimentary bottled water. Closet door and toilet door share the same space so both doors cannot be opened at the same time.

I prefered to take some foods from hotel with me and make a early morning picnic at Jardin de Luxembourg which is located 5 min away from hotel :) location is so easy to reach some remarkable points around. Jason from reception desk is so nice and supportive to visitors, thank you.

Room floor is covered by carpet which i don't like in terms of cleanliness.

The breakfast choice was excellent most of the time, but a bit less was available on Sunday and Monday, probably due to delivery dates. The location of this hotel is perfect for my needs.

It would greatly enhance this hotel if they could install air conditioning. I was lucky that the weather was not hot during my stay. The bathroom amenities were minimal. Some sort of lotion would have been appreciated.
