Breakfast was very nice. Same thing each day but lots to choose from. Room was clean and sufficient, although small. It was nice and quiet too. Small elevator so we got a workout walking up 4 floors. But the elevator was a bonus for luggage and when you just couldn’t do the stairs one more time. Breakfast fellow was very pleasant and eager to please. The desk staff wasn’t as friendly but always there to help if needed. Fantastic location near metro and other amenities.

Room had a view of a dirty courtyard and felt it was expensive but most things were for us Canadians, while in Paris.

The quaint and elegant hotel is hidden amongst the Main Street. Perfect location and beautiful interior. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They helped us with local and travel advice as well aa anything else we needed. The rooms were kept to a high standard by the excellent and hardworking housekeeping staff. The hotel was in a great location with lots to see just a short walk away as well as many restaurants and cafes to choose from just down the road. Cold and sparkling water available 24/7 in the lobby as well as teas and coffee in the room.

In the rooms facing the main road through closed windows you can hear a little bit noise from the street at night. It doesn’t go on late though. This is not something the hotel can change, just something to be aware of when visiting.

Apart from the excellent location, the hotel is stylish and caring from the moment you enter til the staff bid you farewell! This classic building has been recently redesigned and refurbished by an excellent team, and their care and love for this small hotel is translated into the staff who genuinely care about your stay. Personal attention and detail is what makes this small hotel special. From fog free bathroom mirrors to USB ports beside the bed, thoughtful buffet breakfast tended by friendly staff and knowledgeable 24 hour desk staff, this hotel can't be bettered. I found the bed a little soft, but others won't. Every other appointment was 100% on the mark. Congrats to Charlotte and her team, you all run a lovely hotel.

I couldn't stay longer in Paris..hardly their fault, but I will be back!

The plus side is, of course, the location on the left bank and I find that the renovations has improved the property a great deal. My room was a nice quiet room with excellent lighting and facilities.

I had a few mail back and forth and told them, that I would appreciate the same room, a top floor balcony room, I got a nice room, quiet, but it would have driven me crazy to stay there longer and only see the opposite wall and no sky. I also find that I should have been told about the constant construction noise. The room was not properly cleaned, when I took it over. That part could be improved!

Great location about 5 mins walk from Notre Dame & 20 min walk from Louvre. Metro stations 2 mins. Staff really helpful and spoke English. Held our bags so we could get breakfast after check out. Free water (still and fizzy). Beds and pillows were really comfy with good air conditioning. Bathroom was big (double sink) with good shower. We had double and single bed in our room for 3 of us which was cosy but manageable. Chromecast available but a bit of techno knowledge needed to sort. No real road noise with windows shut even though we faced on to a busy main street. Overall a great place to stay.

Not a lot really. Small lift which hols 2 people (3 at a squeeze) and steep circular stairs. No milk capsules for morning tea in room (a fridge was provided in the room however).

The hotel was recently remodeled and sparkling clean. my granddaughter and I were delighted that each bedside stand had an electrical outlet plus two USB ports for recharging our electronics. The free Wi-fi was steady and strong, much to her delight. The bathroom had adequate space for our toiletries, and the bath towels were large and soft. Comfortable beds plus a little table and lounge chair made it easy to relax. A convenient grocery story was less than a block away; bus and metro stops are just steps from the door. All in all, Hotel de Suez was better than I expected for the price and the good Left Bank location.

it was difficult for an older lady like me to get into the tub to take a shower. Safety grips would be much appreciated.

It was a great place for the start of our trip to France, the room and bathroom were clean and large. Our group was made up of three women, so we shared a queen bed and a single. The beds were comfortable and the room was a good size with plenty of space for us and our bags without feeling too tight. There was a mini fridge and coffee area that was useful. We didn’t have any trouble with noise from outside or the neighbors, we were at the back of the hotel and you could hear a bit of noise from the alley, but not enough to disturb us.

The water for the shower could have been hotter, it wasn’t hot enough for two quick showers in a row.

felt like it had been recently renovated. good shower. the location is excellent with many attractions within walkable distance but also not in the centre of overly touristy bars and restaurants. decent coffee and bottled water available.

not good for light sleepers who want to sleep in after 8am as we could heard others leaving in corridor both mornings. but that’s to be expected in converted buildings.

Usually, as a Solo traveller, I find that single occupancy rooms are in corners or odd angles accommodated in a hotel. But I was glad to have a good room with a window providing natural light and air on top floor(6th). The hotel also had water filter with reusable bottles and option for still or sparkling water guests can take to the room. All reception staff was welcoming and helpful. And fantastic accessible location near to all public transportation
