The location is excellent. I wanted to base myself in the Latin Quarter and it is fairly centrally located. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful making you feel very welcome. The breakfast was very good - especially the scrambled egg which was exceptional!

The room was very small although this is true for nearly all hotels in Paris. The bedroom itself was not too small but the bathroom was rather cramped - if I wanted to, it would have been possible to sit on the toilet and wash my hair in the shower at the same time! It was also quite expensive.

If you must go to Paris and are looking for a hotel that is small, clean, affordable, with friendly personnel, and with superb location, look no further: THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU. It is located at the heart of the Latin Quarter, just two blocks away from the Bvd. Saint Michel and Bvd. St. Germain crossing. The Sorbonne is just a stone throw away, and you have a direct regional subway line (RER line B) to the Charles de Gaulle airport. The last thing you want when you arrive to Paris after a long flight is to change trains carrying your own luggage. The RER line B will take you directly from the airport to the Cluny metro station, which is two blocks away from the hotel. Also, there are excellent dining places within 200m of the hotel entrance. In the same street you have a fashionable restaurant called "La Selva", where they offer latin american-inspired, modern cuisine. If you prefer classic french cooking there is a first-class, gourmet place called "Le Bistro du Périgord" 100m away. They offer Périgord fine cuisine, with duck dishes and fine wines. The rooms are not very large, but they are kept scrupulously clean. No need to lock away your laptops and cameras either. I kept mine in full view and did not regret it. The personnel is friendly and fluent in several languaes. The hotel is located on the rue du Sommerard, a QUIET street which runs roughly parallel to the Bvd. St. Germain. The Cluny metro station is two blocks away and there are numerous bus lines to take you anywhere in Paris. The Cluny museum is located on the same street as the hotel.

I regret that I had only two weeks to spend in Paris.

- super welcoming & helpful staff (they even where fine to receive my Uber Eats order for me, while I was away during the day). - spacious room (Prestige). - room was super sound proof. - 7 min walking time to Notre-Dame. - 20 min walking time to Louvre. - underground car parking (Soufflot-Panthéon) at 8 min walk.

- the bed was lower than average in terms of confort. The double bed is made of 2 mattresses, which moved apart during the sleep and, thus, created a gap in between. - no parking places in front of the hotel, in order to unload luggage. One can only leave the car in front illegally risking a fine. - the fridge was very low performant. - not the cleanest bathroom.

Cosy little hotel in the center of Latin Quarter. Room was pretty small, but that is usual for Paris. We took the privilege room on 4 floor- tiny balcony with view over nice streets and Notre Dame de Paris. Very clean, comfy bed with ok lining.

No slippers, while bath robe is provided. Closet is in the most far point of the room- you need to squeeze between your bad and the wall to hang your coat.

I could not speak more highly of this hotel! We stayed in two different locations during our stay in Paris; this hotel in the Latin Quarter and another hotel near the Champs Elysee. If I were to go back to Paris I would 100% stay at this hotel. It is so close to the main street in the Latin Quarter with so many options for restaurants, bars and cafes which we struggled to find where we stayed near the Champs Elysee. And felt so safe in this area. The hotel staff were there 24/7 and exceeded my expectations. They were always willing to help out without you even asking they offered to book us dinners, taxis and make restaurant recommendations. They were so friendly and I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris!

The room was slightly small but we stayed in the base-level room. Next time we visit I would definitely splurge on a superior room as this hotel is definitely worth it.

Room very cramped (and I'm small). Lovely lounge area but no simple way to get a drink (hot or cold). Apparently there is a bar facility but the night person didn't seem to know about it and sent us to the restaurant next door to the hotel instead. Would have been nice to get a coffee or something when we were sitting in the lounge at other times

Staff were very helpful and made our stay a good experience. Reception staff really excellent. Location near the metro and walking distance to some sights was good. Quiet location but with nice cafes. Hotel was quiet at night. Felt safe.

Renovation work meant no fitness centre. Breakfast area for cramped...so uncomfortable although the food itself was very nice.

Bathroom is nicely renovated. Sanitation is good enough to stay comfortably. Front staffs were so kind and very friendly to make our stay relaxed. Location is as best for our interests .

The price was so inflated. I stayed a week and would be better to provide weekly rate. There is another Mercure near the hotel and name is similar thus taxi driver made mistakes a few times to give us a ride to wrong hotel. Would recommend to rename the hotel more identical.

brilliant location and cute room.

Thé Hotel is situated close to Notre Dame Cathedral and is in the Latin Quarter of Paris so it’s location is excellent. Staff were more than friendly and very efficient on practical matters such as advice on public transport, booking taxis to the airport, printing off concert tickets and boarding passes. A buffet breakfast had a wide range of food items for various pallets which was a strong feature of the hotel.

Rooms come in Classic size at 13 square metres and Privilege 18 at Square metres. The Classic room is a little small but was comfortable, air conditioned and with a small en suite bathroom. A request for a Privilege room was made but as all 47 rooms were booked up in July it wasn’t possible to substitute for a larger room. But still the Classic rooms were comfortable and restful.
