We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Des Deux-Iles. From before we even arrived, to after we left, everything exceeded our expectations. Prior to our arrival, we worked directly with hotel staff to arrange cab service from CDG on our arrival day and to Orly on our departure day. Both were great, and it was so nice to have it prearranged. We arrived at the hotel in the morning, well before check-in time, and the staff stored our luggage for us and made us feel welcome, even made dinner reservations for us at nearby L'Orangerie. Later, we were served wine from the honesty bar - nice. Each evening there was a snack in the comfortable lobby area. Every question we asked was answered with a smile. Our stay was superb. The location of the hotel on Ile Saint Louis is exceptional - we walked everywhere. There are at least five wonderful, charming, unique restaurants within two blocks of the hotel. And shops! We will definitely stay here our next visit. The best part of the visit happened after we checked out. This is a wonderful above-and-beyond story. About two hours later, the hotel sent me an email to let me know I'd left a small wallet in the hotel safe. We were at Orly airport, just about to board a flight, and couldn't return to get it. Gaspar sent a link to a shipping company so that I could set up delivery of my wallet home. Because this online process was mostly in French, I had to contact Gaspar multiple times. Each time he responded with courtesy and respect. When I finished, Gaspar had to take the time and effort actually package my wallet and get it to the delivery service. I was so delighted, two days later, to get a text from my daughter-in-law in the USA with pictures of a sturdy packing box she'd had to open with a knife and my wallet, containing my credit card, my ATM card, and $74 cash. The honesty, helpfulness, and professionality of the entire staff was awesome, and so appreciated.

I wish the room could have been a little larger - but it's Paris! I've had the same wish for every room I've ever rented in Paris.

The location was perfect! Easy access to metros, the river was a block away, either direction. The street had interesting and varied shops and restaurants that were open late into the evening. The breakfast was excellent! Hamid, our breakfast cook and host was always welcoming and accommodating. He also made treats for the afternoon coffee/tea and sweets in the lobby. Loved that the lights were controllable from the bed. The bathroom was also well designed.

The room was tiny so our one large suitcase blocked the corner of the room. HOWEVER, everything one would want was in the room The closet had ample shelves and hangers. There was a hot water pot with instant coffee and tea.

The staff all were great. I had a medical issue in the middle of the night and Jimmy the night clerk saved my day. He got me an ambulance, talked them into it finally ( not so easy in France- because it is free?) and I got into an ER. Thank you , Jimmy for being calm, assertive, helpful and supportive. Ahmed the breakfast chef was also friendly,helpful. The rooms are very, very small but clean, the bathroom is quite nice. This is a tiny hotel but in a wonderful location. I stayed in their hotel hotel before which has slightly larger rooms as I remember.

The breakfast option was very convenient. We loved the location. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again. The bathroom was very large and had shelves and places we could stash some of our clothing that had nowhere to go in the main room. The bed was very large and comfortable. I liked having windows that opened.

The room was small, but we were able to make everything fit and we had a lot. Probably the main thing we did not like was how dark the room was, since the windows opened onto a courtyard, there was not a lot of natural light.

Hôtel Des Deux-Îles is a quiet, very private enclave of the greatest quality in the most beautiful possible venue in all of Paris… I just KNEW when I found this place that it would be the most perfect wind-down from a raucous group tour of Normandy and the Le Mans Classic weekend; I chose EXACTLY the right place and I loved each day to return to this quiet, beautiful spot in a city full of crazy activities!

The impossibly elegant reception area and the kind, respectful and very responsive team of professionals (Ben was great!) running this 17-room enclave of well-furnished rooms…I truly miss being there..!

This beautiful boutique hotel is located in the heart of Paris, with all the main attractions / areas without walking distance and, of course, it's also very well connected by public transport. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. We got a room upgrade (thank you once again!) and an earlier check-in. The room was perfect, both in size and comfort: very good bed and spacious bathroom. The attention to detail is top-notch, from the decoration of the room and hallways, to the soap, shampoo and lotions in the bathroom. I would definitely stay again.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was perfect.

We loved the modern, roomy bathrooms. The lobby and the breakfast in the basement cave are lovely. Reception was friendly and helpful. We loved having wine and treats in the lobby after returning in the evening.

One of the rooms in our group was in a hallway where neighbor's doors were all close together. A neighbor came out and yelled at her for "slamming" the door at 8am when she was simply opening and closing it. Meanwhile this same neighbor kept her up all night with his TV and talking. So maybe there is a noise problem with certain rooms. Meanwhile, our double room near the elevator had no problem.

Air conditioner was wonderful. Staff very friendly. Excellent location. Rooms small but that’s par for Paris. Ask for a shower head that NOT a water saver. The air conditioner was very nice on hot nights. Staff left nice notes in our room and gave us a half bottle of champagne.

We asked for a taxi to Gare du Nord, and I specified a regular taxi. The guy who took us charged us €50 for the short trip to the train station and would only take cash. . Hotel staff may want to tell us the charge up front, especially as I asked for a licensed taxi. Breakfast quite expensive, we ate at the Saint Regis every morning. Except for that our stay was very lovely.

My concern about this property when booking is that another review noted it did not have a lift. I was happy to see they do have a lift. My daughter and I were celebrating her birthday and they left flowers for her in the room as well as a complementary glass of wine. This was one of the sweetest hotels I have stayed in while in Paris. The staff were kind, cheerful, and catered to our every need. The location is on a small island in the middle of Paris, so there is not the busy streets that are normally experienced when in Paris. Easy access to everything, with many restaurants and shops surrounding. It was a wonderful two day experience.

Chic comfortable and delightful staff! Friendly warm and helpful! The breakfast in your room an added bonus on request. I had a quiet room overlooking the internal courtyard and even next to the lift. The location is just so chic and has everything in the area you could want. also only a short walk away from the Marais.
