We loved the quiet and safe location which was very close to the metro and walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping.

Perfect location! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great.

We didn’t hear ANY street noise, but the interior was not sound proofed. Every door was heard, but generally it was quiet from 10 to 6. Take ear plugs.

Such a gorgeous hotel! Interior is chic & Parisian. It’s in a lovely, quiet area and the staff were very nice. Was easy to get around either by walking or metro. Loved the 4 poster bed, the amazing shower and the Nuxe toiletries!

Interior could be quite loud in the morning with people closing doors, housekeeping starting to clean etc- so not great if you are looking for a lie in, but fine if you expect to be up and out for the day!

The location was exceptional. We were on the street side and wondered if our sleep would be interrupted but the double windows kept street noise out. It was a ten-minute walk to the Seine and within easy walking distance of the Rodin, Invalides and Maillol and to many delightful brasseries. We were able to walk all the way to Notre Dame and back, too. Our room was beautifully appointed and having a soaking tub and mini fridge were a wonderful touch. Breakfast in the cellar was delightful each morning. Imelda and Twosara (sp) went out of their way to accommodate us. Juan arranged for car service and restaurant reservations prior to our arrival. We will be back!

My husband and I are trying to think of what could have been done better and are coming up with nothing.

Excellent location and very quiet

The only negative thing was that the croissants and pain au chocolate were not good. Maybe small thing but important when you are in France.

We booked a Superior Twin Room (two twin beds together to make a king which was very comfortable) at the Hôtel Duc De St-Simon. This is a GEM of a 4-star property in the 7th arrondissement. It’s a small boutique hotel in the classic old-world style located on a quiet street. The room was spacious, luxurious and tastefully decorated with functional antique furniture and fabric wallpaper with a modern bathroom (with A/C and elevator). It’s the perfect Parisian experience with an excellent location, near the action, but away from the noise. Several Metro and bus stops are within a short walking distance. If you enjoy walking, many Paris sites (Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, Luxembourg Gardens, Invalides, Musee d’Orsay) are all well within a 1.5 mile walk (which will help you burn off the calories from all of the delicious food you’ll be eating). An excellent buffet-style Breakfast is served in a beautifully decorated underground cave-like space with numerous choices of food. Hotel staff are VERY friendly, helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. I don’t think I’ll ever stay at another hotel when I’m back in Paris. I’m sorry that I didn’t discover this place during one of my previous trips – it’s a delightful place to return to.

One minor complaint. – This is a fabulous hotel with HIGH standards throughout. However, the scrambled eggs should be more light and buttery. While the baguettes were very good, they were not superb. The hotel should consider sourcing bread/baguettes from one of the top 5 local patisseries in Paris – for me it would make for the perfect breakfast experience.

The room - although small - was comfortable (nice TV), very nicely and well equipped. The bathroom was excellent; all towels were daily changed and both (room and bathroom) were maintained very, very clean. The temperature control was a modern one (digital) and everything worked well. Breakfast was really great! And, served in a cellar (!), very beautifully decorated! The food was excellent. The hotel is very nicely situated in St. Germain and very close to the Line 15-Rue du Bac station. I think I would stay again at this one...

The first attendant - Mrs Imelda - tried to give me (probably) the worst room of this beautiful and cozy little hotel. But, accepted well my negative answer and gave us a nice one, instead. But, she did try (what I did not like). The hotel does not have a parking place and does not park the car for the guest. The public parking place indicated to me (Indigo St. Germain) charges US$45,00 per day!!!! It would be better to return the car as soon as arriving in Paris and pay a Taxi or Limo to get to the Airport.

This property definitely met and exceeded our expectations! It's a little expensive but what a perfect location and what a great property! The check in was flawless, even got our room a little earlier than expected. Location!!!! We wanted to be in Paris, but not in the middle of the packed tourist areas - this place was IT!! Easy walking to many restaurants, cafes, bars, small unique shops, and parks; while also within walking distance to all the typical Paris attractions! The breakfast was great! Buffet a little expensive at 18 or 19 euros, but 'just' an omelette for 6 or 8. Super cute bar and breakfast room - in a cave!!! The room was more spacious than I expected - the bathroom had a large, deep bathtub with a shower and there was plenty or shelf space for bathroom items. There were thick terry robes (nice touch) and the towels were large and luxurious. The bed was super comfy even if only a double or full. Windows that opened provided great breezes and views were also fabulous!

We would have loved to have an outdoor space with some sun - the weather was beautiful and it would have been nice to sit outside to enjoy a glass of wine in the sun. But, we just took our bottle of wine and some glasses down the street a ways to a nearby park!!! Thanks to the host for recommending where there were a couple park options.

Location was excellent for visiting all of the tourist sites in Central Paris ,nearest metro station is 2 minutes walk away, very friendly helpful staff , room was very clean , excellent powerful shower ,breakfast was continental with plenty of choice , air conditioning was good as it was needed during our stay, although near the centre of Paris it's in a lovely quiet street

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, had to pay extra at breakfast for omelette not included in the breakfast charge, we're they serve breakfast is a little bit on the small side and tables are very small and cramped

It was overcast and rainy in Paris during our stay, so we wound up having breakfast in the hotel each morning. This turned out to be one of our favorite things about the hotel -- a cozy nook with a large array of breakfast goodies plus coffee service. Our room was lovely and the location was within easy walking distance of places we wanted to visit.

There is a 2nd level courtyard that is only accessible by 1 or 2 rooms rather than generally accessible to all guests. The front courtyard is small and doesn't have an awning so it wasn't really useable in rainy conditions.
