Ideal location! Small room, but enough for us for a night. Had AC which was wonderful in the July heat.

Not that the property can change this, but just be aware that there are narrow stairs to all rooms. There is a lift, but it does not eliminate all the stairs!

Location: nice area, close to museums and lots of attractions, shops, nice restaurants, metro, laundry, even a market Hotel: friendly and helpful staff , very clean and nice size room for Paris standard, very bright lights in washroom for ladies who like to do their makeup there, comfortable bed and pillow which is important for me, reviews mentioned the steep stairs was a concern for me, then the staff are happy to help to take your suitcase to your room. So it’s all okay.

The shower could be stronger

The location is absolutely perfect—close to major attractions, public transport, and plenty of great restaurants. It made getting around the city incredibly easy. While the hotel itself is a bit old but has quite interesting history to it which adds to the character, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The narrow stairs were noticeable, but they didn’t bother us since we mostly used the hotel to rest at night. What really stood out, though, was the amazing staff. Eric, in particular, made our stay memorable. He was fantastic with our kid, always telling funny stories that had us all laughing. His recommendations for things to do and places to eat around the city were spot-on and really enhanced our trip. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. The combination of a great location, clean rooms, and exceptional service, especially from Eric, made our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Location is excellent - just round the corner from Louvre, Tuileries gardens etc. Lots of places locally to eat or takeaway. Friendly welcome from helpful and well-informed management. Room 17 (Superior) has a nice oblique view down the rue Saint-Honore which was quieter than expected, Two chairs which is handy. The ensuite has a bath with integral shower. Breakfast (from 0730, 12 euros) was quite substantial with croissant, 2 rolls, juice, tea/coffee and a little pot of fruit. Alternatively the hotel is close to the charming but no-frills Brulerie St Roch in rue St-Roch which does a 5 euro breakfast of croissant, hot drink and orange juice freshly pressed to order.

The stairs are quite steep and there is no lift up to the 1st floor reception - indeed the lift only starts halfway up to the 2nd floor and, at all levels, opens on to the stairs which is a bit awkward - we would not recommend the hotel to anyone who is unsteady on stairs..

Rather old interior but the daily cleaning was impeccable. Literally two streets away from Louvre and hopefully Paris metro will open the nearby metro station soon. We booked room with 3 beds and with slight rearrangement on the furniture it didn't feel too small. Staff was kind and helpful.

You have to walk up to first floor to reception with your luggage. There is an elevator from reception floor, but it’s small and it stops halfway between the floors. This means you’ll have to walk and carry your luggages the last half floor to get to your room, also stairways is narrow. The receptionist was nice and helped us loading and unloading the luggage into the elevator though. The bathroom door is a heavy swing door type which I didn't like because we went in out of the bathroom rather often; we used a chair to keep one door leaf open.

The hotel was brilliant in terms of the location however the main difficulty was the stair access in some parts. The lift was too small & oddly located. There was no vegetarian or even just toast & egg breakfast available. Apart from these 2 issues, the hotel was very good. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. People with mobility issues will struggle to access the rooms.

Eric was a wonderful host, very friendly full of recommendations and advice (the church next door is not to be missed- doesn't look much from the outside but stunning inside) Hotel building full of character (although perhaps not advised for those with accessibility issues as the lift is very small and the stairs are shallow). Room was a decent size and very comfortable with lovely views. Stones throw from the louvre and a million places to eat and drink. Supermarket over the road!

Only complaint would be that the bathroom did not have a proper door (swinging doors that did not fill the frame i.e. large gap at the top and bottom) so not much privacy. Could be awkward depending on who you are travelling with but personally me and my friends just laughed it off!

I really appreciated the help from the staff from the beginning, especially Eric. The room was very clean, and was cleaned daily, which was really appreciated. The location was amazing for us, so close to the Louvre, the gardens around the Louvre, and many great restaurants.

We booked a city room view, but were given a room facing the interior of the building - no real view. The complementary toiletries and kitchenware were very minimal, and we had to buy soap and items for coffee ourselves in the stores nearby.

Friendly staff indeed. This hotel is very tiny and heritage. Don't get fooled by the elevator attracting you. They said the is an elevator but they keep on saying it's only one stair up. With my 2 cartilage damaged, it didn't help me at all. I requested a lower room so I don't need to go through the stairs. the reception is located on the second floor. This accommodation is not for people who have difficulties going up with spiral and narrow staircases. The floor makes so much squeaking noise woke me up a few times during the night from the noise upstairs. 10 minutes walk from Louvre.
