the staff is really friendly, not only the receptionist but also the housekeeping staff, really nice and professional. the location is really good, the metro is practically next to the hotel. the room is really spacious and and comfortable. Cleanliness is something really important for us, especially my girlfriend that has a OCD diagnosis. And everything was really clean, not one thing was dirty or out of place, which often happens in other hotels (even more expensive ones).

the only thing there was not to like was that the lobby area is really small, there is too chairs in front of the reception desk and that’s it. We didn’t mind but if you are someone who likes to spend their time in the lobby that’s something to note.

As a family, we are so fussy about where we stay. When we pulled up we thought okay it’s quite skinny but a tall building and soon realised we’d hit the jackpot. Our rooms (Lafayette suites) were wonderful, clean and spacious. They even put happy birthday balloons for my niece in our room. It’s so family friendly and the breakfast ordered to the room was a lovely touch too! I couldn’t recommend this perfectly located hotel enough !! You won’t be disappointed.

I loved everything but the air-con could’ve been slightly better but I had a fan with me so I was okay.

The hotel was very clean, staff was very kind and helpfull. Location is perfect, close to the metro and lots of places.

There is no sink in the toilet. Sink is in the bathroom, so bathroom and toilet are in different rooms. If you need to go to toilet then you need to walk the other way to wash your hand. Also there was a problem with the sink, the water was pooling in the sink. The heater was not working. I told both problems for the first day and the next day of my stay but they are not solved. One of the employers came to the room and he checked the sink and the heater and he told they will solve the problem next day but nothing changed.

This hotel is very well located, a couple of minutes walk to the metro and also within about 20 mins walk of central Paris. We can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t add this to our booking but there are lots of delicious patisseries locally. There was some confusion about our balcony room booking and we didn’t get this room on our first night but the hotel manager managed to arrange an upgraded balcony room (with no extra charge) on the second night of our stay which we were very grateful for.

The hotel is in an old building so the room layouts are unusual (the toilet is separate from shower room and hand basin). The balcony furniture was rusty

The hotel is in a great location to access the Montmatre district and Sacré Cœur, also Gare du Nord. Our room was spacious and modern and we found it very quiet during our stay. The staff were all lovely and welcoming and we had a delicious breakfast in the morning!

The overhead shower in the bathroom sprayed everywhere and the basin tap was very difficult to use. There was an early morning fire alarm which sent us scrambling down five flights of stairs in our pj’s where we stood outside with only one other family..turned out they’d burnt the breakfast, which other people had presumed obviously. They apologised but I felt there could have been more concern for guests.

Hugo (I hope I remember the name correctly) was very welcoming and checked in on us time and again as we would go in and out to see if there is anything we needed. Very friendly atmosphere and quite close to train stations (4 mins from Poissonière and 10 mins Gare du Nord), few minutes walk really! The room was prettier than we had expected! Would definitely stay there again!

Hotel has home feel, very cosy and friendly place. Has great location on reasonably quiet street within walking distance from many tourist attractions. Many good restaurants, cafes, shops around. We had nice and spacious room. Very friendly and supportive people. Will definitely come back!

The only suggestion I have is to install better quality coffee machine in the breakfast zone.

I liked everything about this hotel, cleanliness, room, staff, there is always excellent coffee and a coffee machine downstairs and in the room, all 100 out of 10 points. I don't know about breakfast. The location is excellent, the center, close to the subway, all the sights are easily accessible. Well, there are simply no words. Price and quality are fully consistent. If a trip to Paris, then only this hotel.

Our welcome from reception and staff were very kind and very friendly our room was excellent. Very clean and a lovely feel in the breakfast area every morning. there are plenty of places to eat around the hotel and a supermarket across the road.

It’s Paris, the beep beeps and the noise of light traffic, it’s the middle of a big city…. it’s something you get used to after a night. There’s not much to dislike about the property at all…. it’s perfectly situated and modern.

It was a convenient location for us as we travelled by train and the walk from Gare de L’Est was only about 10 minutes. There is no restaurant but the hotel app has some great recommendations and there are so many restaurants nearby too. There is a breakfast room which is small but there is a nice selection of breakfast items. It’s also possible to get the breakfast in your room using the app. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a junior suite so the room was very big for Paris. Everywhere was clean. We stayed on the third floor (I think there are 6) and in the morning we could hear some traffic but it wasn’t a problem. I am a light sleeper and I wasn’t kept awake at night (Friday & Saturday)

The toilet is separate from the bathroom which was fine except there was no hand washing basin. There is a nice make up mirror in the side unit but it is too low to be useful. The whole unit should be higher. A work around would be to have a low stool available.
