Perfectly situated, lovely welcome, friendly and helpful staff offering great local suggestions. For a 4 day visit it was just what we needed. We catered for ourselves one evening and each breakfast using the kitchen. Local amenities and great advice made this easy.

Everything was good. A very small thing. We were 3 adults and a small child. There were just 2 chairs to sit at the table. We managed fir a short stay. Also, I am sure, had we asked for more they would have been supplied as everyone was very helpful.

Just steps from the metro, close to good restaurants, the Montmartre and nice places this apartment is a good deal for a 3 day trip to Paris. We were welcomed with plenty of tips and information and really enjoyed our stay. Thanks a lot!

Of course you need to pay quite a bit for parking, but that was OK. Parking was nearby. At night it is busy around the apartment, which shows how people like that area. The windows are great when closed, still it is a little noisy. Might be better on the upper floors.

Great location (between 2 metro lines) with plenty of restaurant options close by the hotel. The penthouse suite was spacious with great views, and it’s wonderful to be able to slide open the windows for fresh air. The small kitchenette has a good coffee machine, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and induction cooktop if you want to cook. The free minibar items and unlimited bottles of water were also most welcome. Staff were brilliant (particularly the Manager) and most accommodating with providing useful information and recommendations.

We stayed in early August when Paris was experiencing a heatwave. Although the panoramic windows provide a great skyline view, as there is no covering on the roof windows it is exceptionally hot during the day (even with two airconditioning units constantly running). Additionally, we found the giant oversized bath (that is the only showering option) slightly problematic to get in and out of and not really suitable for anyone over 6ft tall (as the roof is very low over the bath)

I liked the location and the staff were friendly. Location was excellent for us as well because we were traveling on the Eurostar and it is a short walk from Gard du Nord

I did find the price to be a bit expensive but we did stay on the night Taylor Swift was in town and a big football match was also happening so price surge was inevitable

Everything! The place, the location, the amazing owner, everything! We were 2 adults, 4.kids and a baby, got the biggest room on the 6th floor, the metro is within a minute walk, so is a super market, a bakery and really anything you need. The kitchen is well aquiped and the staff is so welcoming and willing to help at all time!

What can we say - we booked at the last minute while on a cruise and jumped ship at Le Havre, caught a train to have one night in Paris and we're so glad we did. One thing we didn't think of was the ability to communicate as our high school french was woeful but the lovely girl at reception went above and beyond and made sure we understood everything and used a translation device. She made recommendations for good wholesome french food places and hit the nail on the head - the service and food at both places were amazing! The apartment was way more than we expected. We were on the top floor and had an angled window which could be slid open and then we saw it in the distance - The Eiffel Tower - can I say OMG! The facilities in the apartment were so good too with a kitchen ( with induction cooktop ) and coffee pod machine, dishwasher and all the equipment you could need to make a meal or three if you're lucky enough to be staying longer than us. In the bedroom was the biggest bath tub we have ever seen and plenty of hot water as well. Top it off with pink toilet paper and we thought we'd landed in a fantasy land. To the team at Le Matissia we'd like to thank you so much for making our one day/night in Paris a fantastic experience. You truly were the star of our trip! Thank you. Merci beaucoup.

I loved that the staff was always available. Everyone was so polite and helpful. My man Gaultier is a wealth of knowledge. He helped us navigate Paris on a number of occasions. The property was clean. I felt safe and secure. The location is amazing because there are some many restaurants surrounding the hotel. It’s close to the mall and we were able to walk to the Louvre. There are so many things I appreciated about this hotel stay.

After staying at the hotel for over a week I did wish they had a community washer and dryer on site but there is one around the corner if you really need to wash clothes.

Unit was very large for ideal for a family of 5.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at MATISSIA in Paris and wow I just had to right this review for them. The property is Excellent, perfect location right in the centre and near to the Metro which is easy to use to get around the City, excellent facilities, nice shower gel, shampoo to use and the staff are exceptional. Firstly in your apartment you have everything you need and it is very Clean with nice views of the area. We found it was quiet even though you are right in the Centre so no problem sleeping. When we checked in we were shown to our apartment and given a tour which was really nice, we were then given loads of great information about local restaurants, where local shops were and how to get to the attractions on public transport we were told everything that we needed to know which was great as this was our first time in Paris. The stay for us was extra special as it was a special birthday for myself, when the staff heard this they immediately upgraded our apartment which was lovely of them. Another surprise for me was my boyfriend Proposed to me which was amazing, the staff already knew about this as my boyfriend had told them beforehand and they left us a bottle of Champagne, a lovely candle and a nice little Congratulations note for when we returned back that night which I just thought was amazing of them to do for us. I can’t thank the staff and the owner enough for making our stay extra special and for looking after us. I will definitely recommend staying here and when we return to Paris we will definitely stay again. Emily & James ☺️

Amazing location. A short walk to Gare du Nord and key areas with the best selection of food places on your doorstep. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's a compact apartment as you'd expect in Paris.

Overall it's a perfect little spot and place to stay and would go back again. As constructive feedback to owners, needs a little TLC in the apartment as time has gone on. E.g. plates were chipped , holes where things were broken but not fixed and floor cleaning could have been better but small things that can easily be fixed. Also be nice to have conditioner with the shampoo.
