We were surprised that we had actually had a decent view of the Eiffel Tower and could see it sparkle from our hotel room. The beds were comfy and although the room was small, it was practically furnished. The amenities in the bathroom were great. The location was convenient since the hotel is right next to a train station.

The elevator was really small and did not go all the way to our floor. It was impossible to shower without water coming out of the bathtub onto the floor. The hotel was a little shabby, but exceeded our expectations for a 2-star hotel. There is no AC here and no mosquito nets. We lucked out that it was cool, so we did not need AC.

Love the location! Super close to the metro station and walkable through out the montmartre neighbourhood. Love the view of the Eiffel tower and the big windows! The staff were very helpful and provided tips on using the metro. The place was also very clean.

Awkward shower/tub. The glass part didn’t cover the whole tub and water ended up on the floor. It also was a bit loud with people outside the windows. Only till about 1am. We had them open to allow the breeze to come through. We were able to tune it out, and earplugs would probably do the job. 

Fantastic location 1 minute walk from Abbesses metro station in the heart of Monmartre, a perfect base for a few days exploring Paris. The view of the Eiffel Tower from our room was spectacular!! Photos of the view don't do it justice, it is truly fantastic. The rooms are comfortable, warm and clean. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and I think manned the desk 24 hours a day. We didn't eat breakfast (plenty of places in Montmartre to eat!) So can't comment on the food. If you are looking for a base to visit Paris for a few days then this hotel is perfect.

We had no complaints at all but would perhaps comment that the facilities were a little basic, no coffee etc in the room, but this is understandable given it is a 2 star hotel. We did have a TV and mini fridge. The hotel itself is a little tired, carpets in the public areas looked a little old, but these are tiny details considering the value on offer. I would definitely stay here again.

The room I stayed in was lovely; bed was so comfortable and I loved the material wall covering. The male receptionist with glasses was very helpful in guidance to get to Gare du Nord

There was a kettle though no cups or tea/coffee. Lift is tiny. The older woman with glasses on reception spoke no English at all and didn’t know about the Bastille Market on Sundays! For a hotel with international guests who may not be 100% fluent this might be an issue it was for me and I was also using an app that she also didn’t seem to understand this was very unhelpful.

The hotel is very central in Montmartre. nice airy rooms, just along from the Abbesses Metro stop. In the room the window opened for air and we had a back yard view but this was good because it was quieter at night. The bed was very comfortable , sheets and towels changed very regularly. good bathroom facilities; hairdryer, shower gel etc and good water pressure with plentiful hot water! The staff were friendly and spoken good English

A lovely place with lovely and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable and the room cozy. The breakfast was good (a better option than the pricey and crowded cafés around the corner, we thought). In general: Very good value for money, and very convenient with the little cozy square in front with the metrostation that takes you directly to the city center (notice that there are many stairs and the elevator only takes you some of the way, so I recommend a taxi, if you are traveling with luggage). Even though it was on a budget, I think they have managed to make the place very homey.

The room was on the second floor with no view - and VERY small (we had to climb over the bed to get to the window). It faced the backyard, where some students made party some nights. I couldn't stand up in the shower (being 175 cm), but happily took a bath instead. We were recommended to take the metro to Gare de L'Est as there was a market on the square of the hotel and the taxis couldn't get in. This I would not recommend others to do, as there were many changes with MANY stairs and we had to walk 900 meters from the metro to the train station through a crowded street. Rather: walk to Pigalle and catch a taxi from there!

Great location, steps from metro-Abesses. Room is clean, nice to be able to open windows. Walk to sacrecour furniculair, and walk to cafes and restaurants. Gentlemen staff were helpful, hospitable and friendly ( with exception of the lady at reception was very nasty and hard to talk to, no customer service at all). There is elevator!

Bathroom-old and shower is very small at 2ft quarter circle. It only had shower curtain. As a result water goes all over the place when taking a shower. Bathroom had a weird smell. No wonder the site does not have photos of the bathroom. Walls and baseboards has seen better days, some areas are obvious needs repair.

The location of this hotel makes up for any tiredness in the facilities and decor. It has immense character and the view from our superior room on floor 5 was quite spectacular. I read the reviews about the staff before booking but can honestly say that everyone we met was lovely

There were possibly things not to like but I didn’t take my rose-tinted glasses off to see them as there’s so much to like.

Location, location, location. The room is lovely and the provided bathroom lotion and bodywash was actually great - not your normal little packet. The bed is amazing! I will definitely be back!

Only 2 plugs, the bathroom and shower is quite small, there are a few steps after exiting the lift. But this will not make me not return. A little noisy as there are restaurants under the hotel.

The location was amazing. It is right in the heart of Montmartre with many shops and restaurants within steps of the hotel. The room we had was small, but very clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and despite not having air conditioning, there was good air flow through the open windows.

The shower was a little small, but it had great water pressure and did it’s job.
