I loved the history, grounds, pool, linens/bed and bathroom. The hotel itself was beautiful. The dining room was beautiful. The room was comfortable and eve bed and pillows were superb. The bathroom was renovated and had a great shower.

There wasn’t a wide variety of food options. The food was pricey and not large portions. There were also a lot of flies around the dining room and sitting on the food. The waiters did not seem concerned about this. Food was very expensive for what you got. The hotel needs some updating for safety. The stairs are a bit canted and someone with limited mobility would need to request a room in the annex buildings.

beautiful setting. we stayed in a junior suite which had two bathrooms, a bedroom and lounge plus outside courtyard with table and chairs

Wine menu was very expensive and disproportionate to the cost of wines you can buy. However the food was amazing! little disappointed with how long we were left to receive menus and ask about drinks on arrival and when asked for our table lamp to be lit like everyone else’s, it was whisked away and a disproportionate sized candelabra was brought to our table.

Outstanding experience. First, the staff is absolutely fantastic: professional, helpful and friendly. The Chateau is gorgeous and well maintained. The food is delicious, wines and cocktails abundant, and fabulous accommodations. I highly recommend this property and can't wait to go back.

No a/c (hard to do in a 400+ yr old estate), but staff made it nice. The bed is very comfy but was too soft for my husband, just fyi.

The breakfast was sumptuous and delicious and we were well looked after but did not feel rushed. Our dinner the previous evening was also excellent. Our room had a lovely view over the gardens and the room was very clean and comfortable.

We were booked for dinner at 8pm and we sat down on the terrace for a pre-dinner drink at 7.30pm. We had to wait 15 minutes for our 2 coupes de champagne which was very slow. Having chosen our menus whilst sitting outside, no one asked us to our table and I had to go inside at 8.20pm to mention that we now wished to sit at our table and start our meal. I was most disappointed with this lack of attention and another couple had a similar experience. This is an area requiring improvement and I would suggest that a more experienced person is in charge of showing people to their table.

The Chateau is beautiful, great parking , and a wonderful welcome from the staff on reception, one of whom gave us a mini tour. The room we had was perfect, well presented, very comfortable bed, quiet and a lovely en-suite shower room. All of the staff were so professional, polite and with a good sense of care for all of their customers. Breakfast was wonderful, an assortment of dishes that were brought to you along with coffee and juice. We would definitely stay again, and would have liked time to lie around the outside pool area and to discover the walks in the woods.

The evening menu was a bit pricey , although we know the quality of food is fabulous.

Beautiful place and gardens and super helpful and friendly staff who go out of their way to make ones stay the best possible.

Room rates as well as the restaurant menu incl the wine list are ridiculously overpriced and I know what I am talking about. Very small rooms.

Beautiful chateau, garden , pool, dinner room and breakfast

Maybe they do not have enough stuff, it took long time to get drinks at the pool and dinner. We had 7 course dinner with wine arrangements but we did not have wine with dish so often.

Fantastic setting. Impressive place. Great ambiance at dinner. Food and drink fantastic. Hotel staff were really good and bent over backward to help.

On the whole the service was great although some waiters weren't too attentive in the restuarant - they forgot about our eggs and once or twice we felt we were ignored. Some construction works in the garden spoiled the view.
