Beautiful surroundings, lovely setting and homelike atmosphere. Terrific breakfast, absolutely lovely hostess who helped us at breakfast time. I can’t recall if I knew her name but she is very sweet young lady with the brightest smiling eyes. She even came to us when weather was a bit wet and asked if we’d like to see the wine production facility. She was most accomplished and a welcoming hostess for Valendraud. It’s not the first time I’ve been - will be back!

Our stay at Le logis de Valandraud was amazing! The property is breathtaking, and the lady working was wonderful. We were only there for one day/night, and had to check out super early the next day. We did not expect to get breakfast, but she went above and beyond and left us a beautiful spread so we could eat before we travelled. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable. We even got to use the pool a little bit, although it was chilly. We also were able to use the kitchen to cook dinner, which was welcome after eating at so many restaurants during our travel throughout France. Would 1000% recommend this property and would love to come back someday!

It is very difficult to get taxis in Saint Emilion and the property is far from town. We were lucky enough to find the number for a gentleman who took us around, but it's pricey because they come from a different town.

Great for people who want to rest some of the time and drive to local area sights and towns. You need a car to live here. No restaurants close by, but quiet and very well maintained and presented. Good for people who like to self cater.

While there were some snacks and food for sale, there could have been more variety - like cheese board and charcuterie from the area - some local breads etc.

Beautiful scenery, great surroundings, set in the middle of vineyards. Very nice common space. Nice pool area. Ideal for an overnight stay, while visiting St. Emillion and surroundings. Daphne offers great tours around the winery and is very knowledgeable.

Not all of the staff was able to speak English which was a little of the challenge on arrival.

This Chateau had all the comforts of home, and we were made to feel very welcome. The Breakfast was exceptional and so too were the views. Great host and overall a beautiful experience. Location was great as it was very close to Saint Emillion.

We enjoyed our stay and have no suggestions for improvement. The host was brilliant and very accomodating. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean.

everything was amazing, staff were so friendly and helpful. the bedroom was spacious and well lit, with extremely comfortable beds and a big bathroom. The view from the property was absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast included was abundant and had plenty of variety. the location of the property is a 6 minute drive from St Emilion, making it extremely easy to get into town

Th property is set on a vineyard with stunning views of the county side. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our room had the balcony overlooking the vineyard. Be sure to schedule a tour right here at the Valandraud, as we didn’t realize it would be perfect too!

Absolutely beautiful and well maintained property. Our room was exceptional, the living room and the view from it were breathtaking. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The pool is great. The breakfast is nice.

The logis is located within the renowned Château de Valandraud winery, a stone’s throw away from Saint-Émilion. It is perfectly located to visit both the village and discover the multiple wineries of the region. The main house offers a magnificent view of the green rolling hills and the vineyards of the sorrounding Chateaux, which we made sure to enjoy from the common room. The service is superb, our compliments to Elisabete who prepared our room for our late arrival and made us feel at home during our stay. She made sure all our needs were met and was very accommodating, which we greatly appreciated as we were traveling with a baby. Our bedroom was comfortable and tastefully decorated, it had all the amenities we needed. The bathroom was clean and spacious, perfect for our small family. What else to say? The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the common room inviting. The cherry on top of the cake? The wine tasting, which covered the history of the property and enabled us to taste some of the great wines of the house. We were more than happy to walk away with some bottles to remember our stay in Saint-Émilion. 10/10 we would gladly come back.

Honestly, nothing comes to mind. It was really that good.
