Excellent breakfast. Whilst all the staff were pleasant, welcoming & professional. we always looked forward to seeing Ruby at breakfast, with her unique personality & great service. Housekeeping were better than we had anywhere else. Many thanks for marking the final part of our European holiday with such a wonderful hotel & staff. Good staff can be hired, but only good management keep them this way.

Everything: indications to get there, use of the parking and for late entry, cleanness and quality of room and equipment, nice breakfast, excellent location, very friendly and attentive staff, information on what to do in St Émilion.

They had left the lights of the atrium over which was our window so we had to choose between opening the window and having lots of light of having the window closed and have not much air... Perhaps they could have a system so that the lights are off automatically after some time, would also be good for energy consumption.

Fabulous location and a really special feel to the public areas. We were staying with our dog, Layla, and they were very welcoming to us all. We were offered Room 1, as it was bigger for us and the dog. It was also on the ground floor. The room looked very pleasant. It turned out to be rather cold, parts of it seeming to be below ground level. Also, the bathroom had a wet room shower which is my least favourite kind of shower. Not a room I would take again but I would certainly come back to the Badon. It had parking at the back, even an EV charger, a lovely breakfast and a great location.

Other than the wet room shower, absolutely nothing. It was all lovely.

We didn't eat breakfast,bur the Lady at reception was really helpful fantastically knowledgable[found us a restaurant open on New Years evening], the wine cave next door [belongs to Hotel]wonderful wine tasting and a great selection of wine ,the manager finding us a 2000 year wine for my sons Birthday!!....Parking wonderful in a medieval city, a great find!!!....a true central "oasis"....two rooms next to each other[children]....truly faultless!!!...Thank You.

Absolutely Nothing

Having had a bad experience at our hotel in the Dordogne, it was great to arrive at the hotel and be welcomed so wonderfully - from helping us arrive, find the car park and organise dinner, we couldn’t have asked for more. Fabulous friendly staff. Rooms were stylish, simple, clean and comfortable in a great location. We loved it!

Fabulous place to stay. Hotel has been beautifully renovated - it is spacious and very clean. Loved the little touches - like being able to have some fruit, coffee and pastries through the day. The staff were so helpful and friendly. - they even did our laundry. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The location is excellent, in the heart of St Emilion yet still peaceful. The rooms are extremely modern and clean, well-laid out and the bathroom is lovely. The eco-friendly approach is great and staff were extremely helpful with all queries. The breakfast was good and staff had allergy-friendly options available.

I think, given we stayed for several nights and the room rate, the price of parking was too expensive. I think it should be nearer €5 per night.

What a pleasure to arrive at our hotel with parking at the door! The staff were so friendly always making sure that our every needs were being met, from offering to do our laundry to booking restaurants and wine tastings for us which, by the way are right outside the front door! The location was perfect for strolls down the narrow and nearly pedestrian streets. And the petit déjeuner was delocious!

The staff was absolutely wonderful, and I loved the hotel's decor. Though the breakfast room is small, it has a good selection of everything you'd want, from meats & cheeses, pastries, to hot selections.

Friendly and attentive reception staff. Good breakfast selection choice with availability to grab a coffee/tea and a pastry at any point of the day. Rooms specious and clean with all amendments. Free wine tasting and discount in the shop.
