Location is great for La Clusaz. Our 6th time staying here as a family for our ski week. Great place, kids love it, pool table and games room, several great places to eat in Thones. Rooms cleaned daily. Always warm! Street below hotel is now pedestrianised which is a bonus too for any noise.

Parking at hotel is a premium but free parking off site very close by if not. Be aware nothing open at all to eat at on a Monday evening so plan for this.

Nice, friendly hotel right in the centre of Thones, less than 30 minutes away from Lake Annecy. Our family room was nice and spacious. Bathroom a bit dated but very clean. We didn't try the buffet breakfast (10 euro pp) as there was a little boulangerie across the road that served French coffee and a pastry for 2.50 - check it out if you have the time. The hotel mentions free parking - the parking is actually a public parking in the street behind the hotel (Rue de la Tournette) and the hotel is accessible via a covered walkway. We went in August and found a parking space but it is not possible to reserve it. The hotel is right in the centre of Thones, close to lots of restaurants/church/market (on a Saturday). Thones itself is a very pretty village.

I liked intimacy cause never was I ever disturbed by the staff for any reason, yet everybody was nice when I came to them :) I liked the terrasse accessible at all times since I am a smoker so I could go smoke outside anytime. I really liked the location and the fact that there were some books I could borrow to read in my room.

Not the hotel's fault, I was just unlucky to be there at the same time as a loud group. A bit expensive.

Great staff, perfect location, good restaurant and space to park the motorbike in the back yard. The hotel is right in the center (easy access) yet rather quiet (my room was facing the courtyard). The bedroom is small but recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom brand new. Perfect for a one night stop.

I guess it goes with hotels in older buildings but the room, other than being very small, was everything but sound proofed (well isolated from outside, poorly from inside noises). Luckily, my neighbours were quiet but i could hear their phone vibrating (no joking). So a bit of a gambling. I got lucky and had a great stop over.

Nicely located on high street of small town. Good basic room with comfortable bed. Nice breakfast in pleasant restaurant area. Good value for the area.

Reception is closed on Monday when we arrived and we had to find our way round the back.

I liked the situation of the hotel, the view from my room, the service and the personnel. Breakfast was simple but tasty. There are many sites to visit in the neighborhood.

Very small parking and you need to go around the backyard when the reception is closed.

Nice traditional hotel in town centre with good restaurant and friendly service. Comfortable accommodation. Good value and attractive mountain valley setting. Ideal base for biking / hiking or short stay.

Good value breakfast. Very central and easy to park - for free. Good value for money. Quiet neighbourhood although in the centre.
