The hotel is easy to find, a 15 minute walk from the centre of Beziers. The room I had for several nights was fine: a large and comfortable bed, a little balcony which caught the sun, a bathroom with a good shower. The hotel was very quiet and I wasn't disturbed in any way. Akim, the manager, was most helpful. The bowl of fruit was a nice touch! The neighbourhood is a residential area and has small, convenient shops and cafes. 'Le Camion Rouge', a cute, old style bar, has a better breakfast than the more expensive cafes in town. I found the 'Hotel du Champs de Mars' to be just right for my enjoyable break in Beziers.

A small recommendation: if the shower hand piece was to be attached to the wall, then this would have been more convenient.

The room was very clean, the sheets felt freshly laundered. I was given a large bottle of very cold water for which I was grateful as I arrived at midday on a stormy hot July day. The hotelier was welcoming and informative. He even carried my suitcase up the stairs. I like my little balcony, the shower and comfortable bed. I also liked rhatthe WiFi worked in my room as I thought it was only meant to be in communal areas. It was very close to the main area but on a quiet street.

The landlord put himself out to be helpful, especially because I had to leave on a strike day and we spent a long time trying to sort out SNCF. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Also it was very reasonably priced.

great customer service, very clean so didnt have to worry about my allergies, mattress was very good. location was central 10 mins walk from station and 2 mins from centre of town.

Small basic hotel very convenient location. Very welcoming staff and as an added bonus a bowl of fresh fruit - something not seen often even in 5 star hotels.

Friendly and welcoming host who provided a fruit basket gratis on arrival. Spacious room with balcony. A quiet area with easy access to centre of Beziers and attractions. There is a Carrefour City supermarket round the corner as well as a boulangerie serving hot drinks too.

WiFi reception was weak. A kettle in the room would have been appreciated.

Hotel is in a good location near the city centre, city amenities, bus station etc.

Can hear other occupants flushing toilets and walking up the stairs. Some people would not like the narrow stairs upwards and no elevator, it was fine for me. Nobody was there when I arrived, but after a few rings the receptionist said he would arrive in ten minutes. Over my last few days the receptionist kept asking when I was leaving and came out when I arrived back at about 9pm after my last evening out to ask again and wanting precise timings which is difficult when on holiday.
