The rooms are comfy and the view is great, especially if you upgrade to a higher floor. What we especially like in this hotel is the breakfast room, you look out of the windows into the green of the Wittelsbacher Park, and the buffet is consistently very, very good.

There is nothing I don't like about this hotel! Only thing is, that the parking garage is not accessible since two years, and it was not in good shape the year before. I don't have any problems finding a parking spot in the neighborhood, though.

Overall - it's quite decent hotel. Not far from the central railway station and the city center (tram station is just several minutes to walk). We used this hotel together with friends to attend a concert which was just in the nearby concert hall. Very pleasant and helpful personnel (at reception and bar). Nice view. Relatively spacious room. Complimentary bottle of water.

The room was little bit cold (March). Little bit overpriced - incl. breakfast (20 Euros a bit too much, that's why we didn't take it).

We enjoyed our stay at the Dorint hotel very much: price of the room was including breakfast, the room itself was specious end well designed, the beds very comfortable and we had a nice view from the balcony. It was not possible to park out car in the adjacent parking garage, but the alternative was also fine. All-in-all, it was one of the best hotels we stayed for that price, location and facilities.

The room was great, we got a free upgrade to a higher floor, and the view was wonderful. We stayed at this hotel also last summer, and compared to this the atmosphere has considerably improved. In 2021 the breakfast buffet was open, but the offer was limited. There was a wrapping station where this year there were croissants, cakes etc. and the coffee machine. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Also the bar has reopened since then.

We were perfectly happy!!! The parking garage is closed, and you have to drive around a little to find a spot on the street. There is public parking ca. 500 m from the hotel, but in the evening my son and I didn't feel like leaving our car there and walk back to the hotel when it's dark. We preferred parking in the neighborhood near a street light.

I came to Augsburg for family reasons and had already had a stressful trip but when I arrived at Dorint, the staff were incredibly helpful and efficient. My room was well sized and very comfortable. The balcony was a good size too and had a lovely view over the park. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were only too happy to help if they could. The breakfast was lovely and honestly, considering a lot of the German food I ate in the evenings was heavy, I was glad for a lighter breakfast. It's a buffet so up to you how much or how little you have.

Some of the other guests seemed quite demanding and tried to jump the queue while other guests were being checked in or asking questions. Top tip: don't do that. It's not fair on the staff or the other guests.

Wonderful spacious bed room with balcony and shower room. Extremely comfortable and quiet. Tasty range of food for breakfast with bespoke hot food options. Friendly staff. Only 2 tram stops from city centre.

Dinner service was a tad slow/erratic but what the staff may have lacked in efficiency they made up in grace.

Even though the building itself is 40+ years old, it has been very well maintained. Restaurant was excellent as was the bar area. The staff was BEYOND friendly and helpful. All of them spoke fluent English which helped considerably since my German language skills are lacking. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Augsburg area. Ohhh…did I mention that the Rathausplatz and all it has to offer is just a 15 minute walk away?

The hotel is very clean. That is definitely impressive standard. We had a great breakfast. Parking is within the compound in a quiet neighbourhood not far from the main road. I would say staff were very professional and available.

The building is tall and you can easily find it when you arrive at the train station. No restrictions for checking in, staffs are 24h staying, professional and friendly. Room is bright , wide and clean. Breakfast is free and a really feast! I love it :)

The building/architecture is interesting and so the history of it. As we were there in a low season and on a Sunday to Tuesday it was very empty, we nearly felt like the hotel was closed. The staff in the bar and in the restaurang was very kind and service minded.

The carparking in the garage was scaring! The garage was broken and very dilapidated but unreasonably priced, The bar did not have any snacks or small stuff to eat.
