We stayed in a two bedroom apartment in the hotel for 4 nights. It was a spacious, comfortable apartment with a large outdoor terrace and also a small balcony. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable. The apartment was spotless and tge kitchen had everything we needed. The hotel itself was well presented and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was good. There was a tram stop very close and an underground station less than 5 mins walk. There was 3 supermarkets close and some good restaurants in the immediate vacinity.

Location was excellent, room comfortable, bed really good, staff all helpful and pleasant.

Air conditioning would have been good given the hot weather, made sleeping difficult. Breakfast was adequate, good range but couldn’t make a decent cup of tea. Hot food was ok but not replenished very quickly as were some of the croissants on one occasion. If we stay here again we will forgo the breakfast and go to a local coffee shop of which there were plenty within a 5 minute walk.

Location is phenomenal ! Right in the heart of Mitte, making it possible to walk to most of the must visit places in Berlin. If you don't wanna walk, metro is right around the corner. Several options of bars and restaurants. There's a lovely open area in front of the building, where you can have a beer or a coffee. And it makes the hotel even cozier. Besides, this open area create a step back that kinda leaves the building far from the street, which guarantees a very quiet night, you can't hear anything, although the streets, bars and restaurants around are full of people !! Just perfect! Breakfast is simple yet very decent ! I'd definitely stay at Hotel Aquino again !! :)

The rooms don't have climatisation, only a fan. It wasn't a problem during my stay, but if a heat wave comes to Berlin, it might be a little unconfortable.

The friendly staff and the set up of the room's. The baby crib and cot for our toddler. This made our stay and rest more comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the hotel was close to amazing restaurants ,landmarks, and museums. We were happy to stay there with our family and 3 kids under 4. As it was quiet and peaceful, small balconies for each room , the kids enjoyed standing and catching snowflakes ❄️

The floor we stayed on smelled of cigarettes. It wasn't a deal breaker and not cause for complaints or anything though. I guess it's a smoking friendly hotel 😀

The hotel is in the city centre. Important sights are within a radius of max 2 km. The nearest stop (U-bahn or tram) is approx. 5 min on foot. The transport hub Fridrichstrasse is a 15 min walk away. The hotel is not overly luxurious, but it is fully satisfactory. Car parking was available in the underground garage below the hotel, at a reasonable price of 17€/24 hours. The hotel bears the name of the important medieval thinkerThomas Aquinas. The hotel has a pleasant, spiritual atmosphere,

The mattress on the bed might not be so soft. Otherwise, nothing.

Very spacious, large windows, quiet premises. View towards the interior courtyard. Furnished with utility in mind, not just to fill the space. Good shower pressure, nice and plentiful toiletries, good quality toilet paper, decent ventilation.

At times there was an awkward smell in the bathroom. WiFi connection was spotty, kept disconnecting very often. If you're late (after 23:00) you have to ring at the front door and disturb the receptionist to come and unlock the door for you. Difficult to get along with the non-English speaking receptionist when we tried to arrange an early check out.

A very kind staff. Always ready to help and with good advices about the restaurants and coffee place in the zone. Very important: That is a place where you really can feel the "calm" concept, wonderful rest time, without noises from street or any disturbing. It's very recommended to stay alone or with family. The are to work in the room is wonderful, they have a useful deak to put laptops and other devices. Also the coffee options in the room every morning, it's invaluable! 😀 Awesome!

We had a comfortable room overlooking the courtyard at the front of the hotel where there's a small summer al fresco bar. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom. The location is good for the central area; everything we wanted in walking distance but trams, buses and metro are all really convenient close by. Very good breakfast buffet.

Staff was quick to reply my tons of questions right after my booking and all the way up to the arrival. Perfect location for us as we only stayed one night due to a surprise gift to our dino lover kiddo at the museum (400m from the hotel). Wish we had time for few more days to see memorials, gate, statues etc. - only a bit sightseeing of some of these while leaving Berlin. We would def. choose this hotel again if Berlin would be a stop over or a mini holiday at any point.

One minus from Booking.com we didn’t get info about the Berlin Sticker and where to get it. Hotel didn’t know where to get it, when we called them to ask, that would be an brilliant thing to get an email about prior coming. After bit of google and speaking with mates (Danish/Austrian) we found a place only 15min from the hotel. And was lucky to catch the guy at the place at the last minute, as it was only open till 18:00.

Nice, clean and spatious room with a very cozy bed. Everything was perfect, the room is well equipped and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. We appreciate that is was dog friendly.

We had a dog with us, the fee for 3 nights for a dog was 45 Euro, which was a little bit more than we are used to - it is not a complaint (we know that we should have checked on it earlier).. Everything else was really great.
