This hotel has a perfect location if you're travelling by train. It's also close to the bundestag and reichtag. The shower was really nice and the room was clean. The facilities are good and I liked the design.

You have to pay an extra deposit of 150 euroes when arriving even though you've already payed for the trip. If it is because of the minibar or something this should be charged afterwards. The deposit makes the customer not feel as "welcomed". There should also be a possibility of ordering breakfast included in the price, and not pay for it in the morning. Also makes you feel more welcomed.

The accommodation was nice, comfortable, clean and in a great location (right in front of the central station). a very good quality for the price.

We weren’t told that the staff can come in to the room any time. The same man entered our room twice every afternoon without even, a couple of times even without knocking - not really explaining us why.

I did not try the breakfast but location is the best. It is so convinient to go to the trainstation by walking and one simple traffic lights. Although it is near the main station, it is safe and elegant location. Lots of food and restaurants around.

Most of the reception personnel were exceptionally helpful, elegant, kind and nice however, there were also very unfriendly ones or not very professional ones. All in all, of course I got an exceptional experience, also very clean and amazing cleaning personnel. But I could check out anytime I want and even deposit my luggage, so exceptional really.

Everything from the lobby, to the rooms design, the beds, the Daluma (probably misspelling that) body products, the shower (perhaps my favorite). The bar by the elevator was quite nice (though I am unclear as to whether it was open to the public; I never saw a person in there). The option to not have daily turn down service as an environmental measure is something I appreciated. Breakfast was decent. Most of the staff were kind and engaging when in need of help.

Being an American English speaker, I was expecting to come across some people who wouldn’t exactly take kindly to a non-German tourist; I didn’t think it would come from the hotel staff though. In thinking of two staff members in particular, I saw eye-rolling, a lack of eye contact when communicating, turning when you walk through the lobby, and group gossip (not passing moral judgement, but there is a time and place). I had read that German customer service would be a bit of a departure from what one can expect from much of the Western world. I would strongly suggest to management that you try make your staff a shining exception. Doesn’t have to be “service with a smile.” Just be decent.

It was very comfortable and quiet and perfect for going to the train station. Everything was very modern and the hotel was extremely clean.

The minibar was expensive, €7 for a bottle of water was a bit much, 5€ would be fair.

We've never seen water volume and pressure like it. * Great noise isolation. * Free and very fast (~210 Mbps download AND upload) Wi-Fi. * High-quality toiletries and appliances. * Friendly and helpful staff. * Full-length mirror. * Cool decor.

* Usual hotel problem where one pillow is too thin / low and two (we had to ask for the second ones) is too high. * View may not be great. Our room was facing a building across the road. * The mirror can actually be seen through into the toilet / bathroom. If you open the wardrobe doors fully then it's covered. * No heated mirror.

Room is very small. Our particular room had no bathroom fan. Window to outside opens, so that was what we used.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Romy by Amano for my birthday last February, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The room itself was beautiful. Well-designed, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was also quite luxurious, with plenty of fluffy towels. But what really stood out to me was the food. I had a breakfask during my stay, and every meal was absolutely delicious. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and everything I tried was prepared to perfection. Whether I was in the mood for something light and refreshing or a hearty meal, the kitchen staff never disappointed. (well done guys). Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Romy to anyone looking for a comfortable, and delicious stay. The staff, the room, and the food were all top-notch, and I can't wait to return for another visit. (maybe for summer time

This is a modern building with good amenities and design! We stayed for 2 nights and thus didn't need much. The room had a good size, with a closet to hang clothes. The windows have excellent curtains to make the room pitch-black. There was no notable noise from the streets nearby. The location of the hotel is outstanding! It's really right next to the Hauptbahnhof + u get tons of public transport options + taxis. Some of the major Berlin sights are within walking distances. There's a bunch of other hotels + restaurants directly next door which makes it easy to grab food/drinks. We didn't try the restaurant.

- The light switches in the room are confusing. It's a minor detail tho. - The room TV has no Netflix/YouTube. It said something about "screen mirroring" in the manual but it didn't work. - The common area in the hotel (esp dining + bar) are absurdly dark. Not my thing but some peops might like it.

Our main reason for choosing this hotel was the transport links to the airport and main tourist attractions which we were excellent. Before arriving we were worried about traffic noise, however we did not notice any traffic noise and slept well. Breakfast was very good mainly continental style with scrambled egg, boiled egg and sausages additionally. Good quality food used. All the staff we had contact with were always polite and helpful, especially as my German is very limited and the staff spoke good English. We had the small double bed room and was adequate for our 4 night stay and furniture and fittings in good condition. There was also plenty of seating in various areas of the ground floor and plenty of seating for breakfast.

Our only slight dislike was that the shower unit was surrounded by glass which did not give you privacy from anyone in the bedroom also we needed to be extra careful that we did not flood the room when using the shower.
