Great value for money, huge room with useful facilities for self catering, kitchen equipment etc. Loads of space and easy access to places by tram, train and park right opposite the hostel. Several small grocery shops nearby too.

Building was a bit old so no lift and wooden floors very creaky. Sofa bed in the room was very shakey and felt broken but we didn't use it as a bed, only as a sofa so not a major problem. WIFI strength wasn't great, probably because lots of people using it so it was quite slow.

The hostel's central location is its biggest advantage, being within a 5 to 10-minute walk to multiple metro stations, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The apartment itself was quite spacious, featuring a large living room, a well-equipped kitchen with basic amenities, and a bathroom. The room I stayed in was on the third floor, and while there wasn't a lift, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciated the prompt response when I requested an iron. The hostel offers great value for money, given its location and the size of the accommodations. It's a solid choice for those looking for a centrally located place to stay in Berlin without breaking the bank.

The most significant issue was the heating system, which didn't seem to function effectively, leaving the rooms quite cold. This might be something for the hostel to improve upon, especially during colder months.

Good location, had all the basics covered that is needed for managing all the daily needs. Super nice the flexible check-in/check-out possibilities, to fit them to travelling schedule.

Nothing bad, only the fellow travellers, neighbours could have stayed as silent as possible. Good mood is great but during travels, many of us needs to wake up super early to catch means of transportations, so would be great not to socialize where you sleep or make noises like explosions or keep on rearranging furniture at the middle of the night. All this for the other travellers, no bad opinion about the place.

1. Great location at the border of Prenzlauerberg w Mitte . Perfect to enjoy the vibe of Prenzelberg and about 2 km nice walk to Hackescher Hofe , Alexanderplatz, Berlinerdom etc The walk itself is a joy along famous touristy streets Kastanienallee and Prenzlauer Allee , Within 600 m tourist sights Mauerpark and Kunstbrauerei . Four supermarkets in a 600 m range , one (Edeka , open till 21,00 ) about 100 m across the way Also easily accessible by public transport a few trams , metro and Sbahn around the corner take you to more remote sights 2, Super friendly and efficient reception staff . Our suitcase was delayed and the reception lady Gaby helped us track it then kept in touch w us when the suitcase was delivered . Also her colleague a kind gentleman who welcomed us was very helpful and patient w lots of little advice. 3. Clean spaceful apartment -:we had the 2 person flat on the 2nd floor . Old fashioned but very practical furniture . Our own kitchen with fridge oven , stove , kettlectop enough to prep light meals. , Large bathroom, entry corridor, quiet room facing inner courtyard . Beats many airbnbs .. 4 Fast reliable internet . That's not always the case in Germany , not even in 3 star hotels so when you get it appreciate it

Hard to find a negative , really , Maybe kichen utensils not enough for those planning to do serious cooking but I guess reception wd provide to those who ask , we didntv

It was absolutely outstanding for the price Cute design of the room Comfy bed Lots of space in the room (studio apartment / suite for 2 people) Large bathroom Well equipped kitchen Friendly receptionists Amazing location

Hot water didn’t work at night (and sometimes the heating too) - I understand that it’s probably controlled centrally to save energy but they should inform you about it beforehand One of the windows couldn’t be opened Some of the kitchen equipment and utensils were dirty but that’s previous guests’ fault, not the hostel’s

Easy check-in. Small park near the hostel with “pirate ship” for the kids. White and clean bed sheets and towels. Heating that you may easy adjust yourself. Private kitchen with all necessary kitchen utensils.

Rooms definitely need renovation, furniture and kitchen equipment are old, but everything worked just perfectly. So for the hostel it is fine. ‘Talking’ floors. It would be nice to have more hooks near the entrance or small shelf for scarves and hats and for children coats.

I liked the area it was in, as well as how easy it was to check in and out. Having the option of my own room was also very nice!

The reception times were frustrating, due to the reason I was in Berlin I was often not there during the hours when the reception was open. This made it tough to be able to do washing and laundry.

Staff were friendly and went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable for my stay. Gabbie in particular was amazing. The communal kitchen that looked out to the main street was comfortable and convenient. The room I stayed in looked into the quiet courtyard. Beds were comfortable, linens provided in the price.

Bed frames squeak easily, so keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper.

The hostel has a warming family vibe with considerate and helpful staff. The young woman in reception had a great energy and assisted me with figuring out the berlin public transport system allowing for me to have a stress free and enjoyable trip.

The hostel facilities might seem dated but this is a small downside as it does add to the overall charm of the location.

We had everything we needed (a bed, table, a sink, a small fridge and little stove) don’t expect it to be luxurious…it’s really just enough of all that is needed (which was perfect)! (And that’s also the perfect thing you need when you’re mainly there to explore) it is also very well located its close to stores, restaurants, metro (so the location is very very nice and it has been pleasant to explore there)
