The hotel is amazing, great location, great room, great facilities. The sauna was just what was needed after a heavy night out with friends, it had a steam room, hot room and a cold pool. The room itself was large, had plenty of storage and the bathroom was a great size, the shower also had great pressure! The 2 free beers in the mini fridge each day was also a nice touch!

It wasn't clear if there was a control for air con in my room, but the little panel I did find that looked like it didn't seem to work.

Everything was good. Most of the landmarks are on a walking distance and bus and metro stops are very close to the hotel. Nice location by the river channal, very quiet surrounding. The city is very well connected with public transport. We liked daily complimentary refreshment (cold water and beer, as well as cofee). Bads are very good, too. The staff is perfect. You need an umbrela because there is a light rain several times a day, but the weather was pleasent for long walks.

The odor from the toilet sewage, esspecially when it was rainy. We think this is the city issue, not the hotel only, because we felt the same odor on the streets when passing by the shafts.

the room was clean, spacious enough & adequately equipped. location is excellent with VERY nearby subway station & the potential to comfortably walk to many places of interest. better than expected gym & sauna/steam-room facility in the basement ... but unfortunately with limited hours (15:00 or 16:00 till 22:00). compared to the cost of other available accommodations -- i booked somewhat late -- the price was relatively reasonable for what was offered (know that berlin hotels are definitely not inexpensive)

the $20 breakfast -- while certainly sufficient -- wasn't particularly special enough to utilize multiple times ... especially with several less expensive breakfast places/cafes a 2-3 minute walk away (that said, could be worthwhile if u prepare a couple of sandwiches & take a piece of fruit &/or tasty pretzel for later on). although i never complained, the "lounge chair" in our room was quite damaged &, therefore, uncomfortable to sit in ... which u'd expect the hotel would be alert enough to be aware of & remedy. and, as already mentioned above, extended hours at the basement's "health club facility" would've been appreciated

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel located in the heart of Berlin. Its location is truly enviable, just a 10-minute walk from Museum Island and Alexanderplatz. This proximity to the main tourist attractions made my stay extremely convenient and allowed me to explore the city without difficulty. One of the most appreciable features of the hotel is the sauna. I spent moments of pure relaxation, enjoying a tranquil and rejuvenating environment after long days of sightseeing. The room I stayed in was really spacious, with ample room for both rest and any personal needs. The bathroom was equally generous in terms of space and equipped with all amenities. The hotel enjoys excellent connections to public transportation, including the subway and buses, making my city travels very convenient. The overall ambiance of the hotel was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. Overall, my stay was truly enjoyable, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the heart of Berlin.

This hotel meets every expectation for a city break and some. Its location is perfect for those who like to walk about or make use of the public transport. Three restaurants all within 20 meters catering for every taste including the Lebanese (Our favourite) based at the hotel are great, with tables outside overlooking the river. Breakfast is 18.50 Euros which is a lot for a continental breakfast. The only hot offering is scrambled eggs or a hard boiled egg. Whilst not needing a full English, The best alternative we found was at Yada Yada Breakfast club (cash only - Closed Mondays) a five minute walk away where you can get an omelette with tomato, ham or smoked salmon or sausage, toast and fried potatoes. for around 10 Euros.

Room clean and tidy. Not big, but not small, with enough room to move around without bashing into something. Beds were really comfy. Clean and bright bathroom. Tea, coffee, cocoa. Area quiet. Not far from Berliner Dom/ Berliner Schloss/ DDR museum and sex-club, the KitKat Klub. U Bahn station right around the corner. Nikolai quarter for restaurants. Hotel is right on the Spree,with good Riverside walks.

Aircon pitiful, barely functioning, and useless in the late Summer heat. This was a big minus. We ended up having to sleep with the window open, which unfortunately let mosquitoes into the room.

The hotel was lovely. We just weren’t aware that our room got booked without breakfast. So read the fine print!

There was a problem with breakfast but this is most likely the fault of Booking.com. We booked one of the hotels with the green banner stating breakfast was available BUT WE WERE NOT AWARE THAT OUR ROOM CAME WITHOUT BREAKFAST. So be careful when booking! I book a lot. I’m level 3. I never had this problem before. I booked 4 months in advance. Had I known there was a problem, I could’ve easily booked another hotel. There were many choices. Our confirmation from Booking.com misled us.

The location is very central, a 10-minute walk from the core of the Museum Island, yet in a quiet area of the Spreekanal. We were upgraded to a very spacious apartment with a comfortable living room, big bathroom and a small kitchen. Breakfast was not exceptional but quite decent (the same every day). The reception staff were very responsive to all our requests. There is even complimentary beer!

There were some technical problems with lighting, unpleasant smell from the shower drain, absence of hand soap (only shampoo/body wash) in the bathroom. The kitchen wasn't initially stocked up with complimentary water or beer or tea/coffee, but the staff fixed that quickly.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location (5-10min walk to Museum Island and across the road from a metro station). Staff were all friendly and welcoming from the first moment we walked in. We were able to check in early and there were 2 beers and waters in our room every day during our stay, which is a lovely touch. The hotel is clean and well presented, with an interesting lobby, and a sauna, gym and laundry (which we used). Room was a good size for us with plenty of storage space and a safe we used to store valuables. Shower pressure was good and shampoo, cream, etc provided were good quality.

A few issues - first of all and most importantly, the pillows were awful. We might as well not have had any for the support they gave. This resulted in many poor nights' sleep. The staff in all fairness were sympathetic and helpful - they gave us extra pillows and even found a previous type of pillow which was more supportive that we could use. Just PLEASE get better pillows and this hotel will be perfect. The only other small complaint was that our bathroom had a sewege smell occasionally. It wasn't during the whole 5 day stay and didn't seem to have any rhyme or reason (sometimes in the morning, sometimes the evening). It never got bad enough to make a complaint but it was unpleasant.

Perfect stay in a perfect location! Very polite staff who spoke perfect English. Big spacious room, clean, nice, with a refrigerator containing two water bottles, and a heater that we turned on anytime we wanted when it was cold. The location isn't bad either. There is a metro station nearby that can take you to the main square Alexanderplatz for shopping and sight seeing across Berlin, both west and east. The Berlin Palace (just recently rebuilt), is a 10 minute walk, free of admission, and it's roof can be accessed for free with a booked time slot ticket. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and we definitely would stay again when we return to Berlin :D

No major at all. Though breakfast at 18 euros per person was too expensive but since it's a four star hotel it must be worth it. Nevertheless we had breakfast outside as there were plenty of cafes nearby with cheaper breakfast options. We could hear our neighbours across the wall, shouting and swearing. Lastly pillows were too soft, even if you used two pillows at once. Otherwise the hotel is great.
