Fid the express check in on line b3fore hand to save time and had to do it all again once I arrived after 10 hour drive. Not good. also booked a dinner table for 8 pm and it was confirmed that a table would be available with set menuThis was confirmed by hotel but not conveyed to restaurant staff. Felt awkward pointing this out to them and they went away to investigate. All ok in the end but get communication sorted.

A beautiful property with history and modern flair. It is very apparent that the hotel is being maintained at the highest level. It is clean, smells fresh und looks like as it was currently decorated. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We booked one of the family rooms and it was very spacious with two large double bedrooms and massive bathroom. Again, the rooms and the bathroom were in top condition and the beds super comfortable. We had dinner out on the terrace and were happy with the choice of food as well as the service. Breakfast equally was a treat with a choice of various delights.

As the hotel has got quite a bit of outdoor space for enjoying food and drinks and as it was very hot a lot of people were outside and chatting and laughing until passed midnight. Due to the heat one kept the bedroom windows open. It was therefore a bit noisy.

Great room. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Fantastic food at restaurant. And the breakfast was also very good.

I didn't like the tacky patronizing communication. They had a big rollup by the breakfast hall "Forbidden to take food from breakfast buffet." Is this a problem? Are Germans so greedy and sad that they pack their lunch box at the breakfast buffet? If so, ok I get it that there is a big sign, otherwise this is insulting. Also... the QR code card in the room asking for a tip for room cleaners. Seriously... tipping culture sucks! The only thing this communicates is "we don't pay our staff and expect our guests to do so."

Perfect location, just off the motorway, with plenty to do within the hotel grounds. Excellent restaurant and terrace areas.

I felt for the restaurant staff who were rushed off their feet!

Location is very quiet with easy access to autobahn and an enjoyable 10 min walk through the countryside to the town. Breakfast was very tasty with a variety of choice.

Unfortunately with 36 degrees air temperature on arrival there was no aircon in the room

Very restful location, all amenities available. Breakfast was good value and of excellent quality. A place to stay when you need to get away from it all.

If you are a bit older the check in / out process can be an issue. Staff not all that friendly

Clean and comfortable. Modern bedroom. Good breakfast and somewhere we could enjoy that with the dog. Lovely surroundings though we arrived too late to really appreciate them.

Pretty place. Good Breakfast but it gets boring after a time. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. The town is near and the lake very nice. Good location for a peaceful getaway.

It wasn’t clear that the swimming pool doesn’t belong to the hotel. you need to go to the public pool. it is very near but in winter with a toddler it isn’t fun. the bathroom needs renovation. no tea kettle in the room and no minibar. we got 1 complementary 250 ml water. no new one when cleaning the room.

Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Communication with the restaurant was poor and some of the information was incorrect.

The room is very spacious for a family of four and comfortable. Bathroom is also very spacious and clean. The hotel has a lot of greeneries. Breakfast was plenty and breakfast room is very spacious. Having a restaurant on the site is great and food is good. Kids love everything about the room and restaurant.
