Close to the autobahn for an overnight break it was easy to find. Receptionist offered us use of the sauna and later gave us really helpful guidance about where to start our evening stroll along a footpath advertised in the main hotel car park. She was so proud that we wanted to see 'her village'. Staff spoke excellent English. Vast room was in a modern block at the back of the older hotel building and we could park right outside our window. Despite a simultaneous wedding breakfast in the conservatory we had excellent service for our pleasant meal in the bar. Comprehensive breakfast was excellent. (Very convenient supermarket across the road where we bought our lunch supplies)

They were doing some remedial work on the drainage system near the car park and just once we caught the whiff but it will be completed by the time you read this. No English language channels on the TV for news, but we didn't find this in any hotel.

We had booked a family suite which was large with good kitchen dining lounging areas and large balcony. Some beds in main area some in separate rooms. Great restaurant and breakfast on site. Plenty of parking and reasonably convenient to motorway whilst also being quiet.

Some confusion about the dishwasher fuse so it had dirty washing from previous stay. Bit remote.

It was close to a venue that we were travelling to for a party. The staff were friendly and the room quiet and clean. We like being able to sit outside at the end of the day.

We used the cycling room but had to collect and return the key to reception each time we took out or returned our bikes. There were two keys and more often than not we were given the wrong key and had to go back to reception to get the right one. This was only a minor irritation.

The location and setting was perfect. We loved the way all the separate (villa like) accommodation buildings were laid out and found the rooms spacious and beautifully decorated. The whole ‘set up’ had a charming quirkiness. They were very accommodating when we had to change our date of stay at the last minute and also arranged a cooked meal on arrival late evening. This is a hidden gem.

Seems such a small thing but we like to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Our room was located in building 5, very new and spacious room. As it was a hot day we welcomed the fact that there was a portabable fan in the room and the window had an insect screen (so we could open the window at night, but keep out the bugs). Parking in front of the building. Restaurant (dinner, breakfast) is in the main building and as to be expected in Germany very good. It is located only 10 min. from the motorway. Overall this hotel has an excellent price/value.

Family room with more than adequate facilities. Lots of space for three adults travelling together. Well placed for access from the motorway. We were travelling back from Denmark to Amsterdam. Own restaurant also very good.

Nothing to dislike. TV perhaps oddly positioned but there were no English channels anyway.

huge well equipped room, huge walk-in shower always a blessing after a day in the saddle, even trusted with a fully stocked mini bar which is a rarity these days. Super restaurant with lots of choice and a handy location with lots of parking just outside your room so nothing whatsoever to be unhappy about. I would without hesitation recommend this hotel.

Nothing, if there is something you don’t like you should stay at home.

The rooms are quet, clean, with a parking for the door. The sauna was nice even for six people.

I booked a single room with single bed. I always sleep at my belly and I´m 1.94 tall. Laying at my belly, my toes feed facing down, what makes me 2,05 meter. The bed was to short for me.

The location was perfect for our overnight stop on our way home from Denmark. It is near (but not too near) the A1 autoroute, on the edge of the charming village of Rulle. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and very good value for money.

The pillows (one each, only) were rather thin so they didn't provide enough support.

Because it was Sunday the restaurant was closed so we had to go and find a place to eat was not very good because we had driven a long way and no water in the roo
