Some of the rooms are fully renovated. We got one of those. And were super nice. My brother got an old room, which is not as good as the newly renovated rooms. The rest of the property is very nicely decorated and well maintained. The staff/host is caring.
Sounds of church bell all night. Nothing can be done as the rooms are beside the church. The breakfast was not good. Compared to all the other places we have been in the black forest. 3/10 for the breakfast. Also the large breakfast room was kind of smelling. Not bad smell. but smelling. Sit outside and then not a problem

The room was clean. good view,
there is no elevator and for me and my wife 77 old people, it was very disappointed. No lobby at the hotel and there is no place to seat except in the room. It appears that there is a balcony, but the balcony is for all the floor and is very small.

Staff were friendly but limited,(I presume the owner + a chamber maid). Breakfast was good, ample variety. Location as expected, a quiet little town off the tourist track.
No restaurant or bar facilities available. On arrival couldn't get anything to drink except for a machine on the first floor, had to drive to another hotel/restaurant 5min away. Rooms were very outdated, it was like going back to the 70's. No staff after 5pm, a phone number was available for emergencies. Internet/wifi awful, was more offline than on.
