Exceptional hotel. The hotel was fabulous. It’s a beautifully decorated boutique hotel. The location was perfect, close to the centre and to the train station. The rooms were wonderful, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and very fresh. Unlimited coffee each day. The honesty bar for drinks and coffee at any time was positive bonus and was a treat to take your drink and enjoy it in the beautiful lounge The atmosphere at the hotel was warm and inviting and welcoming. Will definitely be back again. Thank you.

The hotel boasted beautiful and comfortable rooms with fantastic river and castle views, a common lounge and a fantastic morning breakfast. Sebastian provided us with helpful suggestions and recommendations for restaurants.

We would have liked to stay longer! In retrospect, we would have made this our base for the time we spent on the Rhine as well - it isn't far and we loved the Hotel Villa Vinum Cochem more than the castle we stayed in on the Rhine.

The hotel is in an amazing location overlooking the Mosel. Our room had a balcony from which we had a fantastic view of the castle. Our host was generous with his time pointing out some great choices to eat nearby. The room was very comfortable, well equipped and well presented. There really was nothing missing, our hosts had thought of everything. Breakfast was perfect, the freshly baked bread each morning a treat. Thank you.

It was so much better than we had expected! It felt like a home. Next to the Mosel, very close to town, clean, comfortable, just great. Loved the honesty bar and the relaxed vibe in the garden each evening. The hosts were really so friendly. Like minded folk from various countries were there, all friendly and all so relaxed - was it the hotel that created that - we think so. Would really recommend this hotel.

You’re kidding!

The place is beautiful and right across the street from the river. Only a 5 min walk to shops, restaurants and bars. They also made our dog feel right at home. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of options. Our room was next to the main street, so it was a little noisy, but the windows must be sound proof because it wasn't that bad when they were closed. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely large bedroom on second floor at the front with view to river and the castle in beautifully restored old villa. Comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. Parking directly outside and secure space to keep our bicycles. Short walk into the centre.

automatic lights in toilet and shower room with only frosted glass door to bedroom - if someone goes to the toilet in the night the light goes on and stays on for quite a long time lighting up the bedroom! There's no air con but a ceiling fan would have been good to install. There was a portable fan available which was useful as it was quite warm at night.

Everything about the Villa venom was amazing. The rooms were fantastic and the attention to decor and every detail was lovely. Whimsical interior design.

We liked everything about the property. Only two comments for improvement which is that the breakfast is minimal. Good cheeses and meats but nothing warm like eggs, omelets, sausage, bacon, pancakes etc that we saw in the other hotels along our trip.

The hotel is situated at a very nice location next to the river and close to the center of the village Cochem. Parking is available at the back of the hotel. Inside it looks very modern, but still with a romantic atmosphere. It was all very clean and I liked the toilet is separate from the bathroom. The shower was exceptional: large and very good water pressure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can absolutely recommend this hotel.

Only one little remark: I would like to have one large bed cover instead of two separate ones. No other negative comments.

Friendly people at reception and in breakfast area (which was very good by the way!). They gave us a warm welcome and offered fine suggestions for things to do. The location is great for those who can enjoy the life and bustle of a tourist town but prefer to stay a little on the side (in the quieter parts) in the early morning and late night.

Our room was amazing with a gorgeous side view of the castle from the balcony. Our host was super helpful and even helped our friends out with parking for their motorbikes when they were let down by the hotel they were staying in. We were also provided secure parking for our motorbike which made my partner even more delighted with the property. Breakfast was lovely and the outdoor terrace was amazing.
