A lovely hotel. Check-in was easy. The hotel is a mix of old and new, but it is stylish and modern.Large room with a clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is free and immediately behind the hotel. A short 5 minute walk to get into Cochem, and it is nice to be a few minutes away from the bustle.

The room was awesome with exquisite details, the breakfast buffet was tasty and had a little of everything, the location was perfect and in walking distance to all of the sites, but most importantly, the scenery was beautiful. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Overall, it was just an excellent experience.

There was a little street noise just because it is off of the main road, but it wasn't that big of a deal. At the end of the day, we were so worn out from taking in all of the sights, that we were fast asleep once we hit that comfy bed!

We loved this hotel! It’s an old house with lots of character. Our room was huge with fantastic views of the river and castle. Plenty of parking. Easy 10 minute walk along riverside path to center of town. Breakfast was wonderful. The honor bar is the best… good selection of local wines to enjoy at a fair price while sitting on the terrace and enjoying the view.

No A/C but they do provide a fan in the room (not sure if any Cochem hotels have A/C?). Bathroom has a small shelf but lacks counter space.

The hotel was stunning and we selected a junior suite, which whilst nice and roomy with an excellent view due to the large windows in front and the back, was very hot and if you opened the front windows, became noisy as it was one a front road.

The blinds in the bedrooms had one or two missing panels and as such could not be fully closed, so if you walk around naked, the neighbours may enjoy the sights… this was mentioned to the staff on duty and we would hope is sorted before any further visitors

What a perfect location, gorgeous views out over the river and overlooking the vineyards to watch the sun rise and set. A short walk up to the castle from the hotel and 7 minutes into the main village. The hotel was comfortable, well supplied, great breakfast and lovely lounge area with views in every direction and with super easy parking. It's a shame we did not stay longer.

Everything was great!

Nicely modernized old building on the Mosel, about a 5 min walk from the town center. Beautifully located with a lovely view of the river and the castle from our spacious, comfortable room. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful and provided an excellent breakfast buffet.

If you don't like lugging your luggage upstairs, make sure you ask for a room on the ground floor. The lighting in our bathroom was somewhat dark. The staff was aware of the problem and is seeking to remedy the situation.

We loved this place, it is a quaint little place right on the Mosel river with a great view of town and the castle up above on the hill. The architecture is beautiful as well, mixing an old brick building and a classic German house, with a new modern renovation where the kitchen is tying the old buildings together. It is very beautiful.

Parking is limited, I think we got the last parking spot in the lot. Not really something I didn't like but don't expect to drive more than one vehicle if you are driving here.

Great location with stunning views, ‘bar service’ with all sorts of drinks (you write down what you take). Host was very friendly and helpful. Parking in front of the hotel entrance. We stayed with our dog; no problem whatsoever! Really loved our stay! Will come back if we would stay in Cochem.

For breakfast, I missed a fried egg and some bacon. Other than that, there was plenty of choice with lots of cheeses and meat, different kinds of bread, fruit,… It was a bit warm in the room (in April) so it might be too hot if you’re staying in summer?

The villa is incredibly beautiful. The views were amazing and the general energy was calm and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting in the terrace and enjoying card games while drinking wine from their bar. The location is really nice and quiet, with a nice food place (the wine garden) in front and walking distance to Cochem. It was very easy to reach and drive out of the city, and parking was very available. The breakfast room was very nice with a big selection of foods and drinks. The staff also provided gluten-free bread.

The room, while it has all basics, it was incredibly plain and had no decoration. Just basics. It was surprising since the stay per night is not cheap and the photos of the rooms online were beautiful. The staff was quite distant and barely present. We personally enjoy going to small hotels like this because we love connecting with the hosts, but this trip we felt there was no one around. We were also surprised that we were charged 5€ per night for the parking.

Breakfast was great incl the attention and service. More than sufficient variety, fresh and good quality! Location is good, building and room are authentic and well maintained. Stunning views over the Mosel river. Selfservice bar available, however coffee and tea could be better free of charge. Nice terrace. Friendly staff (or owner). Lady of the breakfast room paid much attention to everything.

WiFi in the room (7) was bad. Roaming (even 4G that seems to be the max in Cochem) was better, but streaming not possible all the time, only in the shared areas. The beds could have been better. And why do Germans never use a double comforter on the double beds? The comforters were bad anyway. Dreaming about the old style German down comforters.
