We arrived much earlier than the check in time, but the staff was very helpful and managed to settle us in a room at 11am. The hotel itself is in a very quiet area, there is forest surrounding it, many paths to take a walk or have a bike ride. There are even bunnies running through the hotel garden. The area appears as a huge forest natural reserve, which is amazing. The room was clean and very spacious. The restaurant was the most delicious one I have personally visited in Germany. The spa is clean, the facilities are well constructed so even if you are not alone in the steam bath, for example, it doesn’t feel crowded at all. I would love to come back for a longer time with a bike or hiking boots and spend extra time in the nature.

There wasn’t a single thing not to like.

The room was spacious and clean, with excellent water pressure in the shower; my husband really enjoyed the bath. Breakfast was lovely, though I would have appreciated bacon in a warmed dish as opposed to one plate of bacon sitting out in the cold air. The bread was excellent and the selection was good. The spa was great, a lovely big pool and hot jacuzzi we enjoyed while we stayed there. My husband booked a massage and had nothing but praise afterward. We did not get a chance to use the sauna, so can't speak on it.

Service in the restaurant could be improved, the wait was long, the waitress mostly ignored us and we eventually had to ask a different waiter for the bill.

In meeting room X, the fountain and its music was annoying, but the personell took care of this immediately. The staff in the restaurant could have been nicer, with exception of the cook. A smile and being friendly should be the standard.

The spa was great. Hospitality on point. Very friendly staff, they speak perfect English.

The room we were given was different (worse) from the pictures of the room we booked. For this price the rooms should be better. The food was average while the prices were for fine cuisine. Nobody told us we were supposed to get a reservation at the restaurant. We were about to stay hungry, they literally booked us the last table.

The sauna starts at 9 a.m.. this is not good planed because most of the people leaving at that time. If the swimming pool is open at 6.a.m, the sauna must also in order to provide the best relax!

Very nice Hotel with very friendly personal. the rooms were very clean and even if the hotel has seen some years everything is clean and well maintained. Two very nice restaurants with a beer garden in a wonderful landscape.

There was a marriage that was a bit too loud for guests that would like to sleep.

beds are too narrow. For large people it’s not big enough. and at the restaurant the food was just horrible. They made mistakes at every course and de didn’t get all the things we ordered but they were all on the bill ! that was corrected of course but still.

WiFi in our room was very bad and unusable. Smart TVs are not connected to the Internet. This is not the same in all rooms though…

Nice rooms, fitness area, pool, and outdoors. excellent breakfast. Ample parking.

Nothing, love staying here as a stopover whenever driving through Germany.
