The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Altstadt, rooms were clean and spacious, and the host was helpful.

We hadn’t realised from the description on booking . com that this wasn’t a private apartment - bathroom, sitting room and bedroom were partitioned with a private door. There was also a nail salon within the apartment which at times had a strong chemical odour coming into the space where we were staying. Nonetheless, it was convenient and spacious, and we had a good time.

The location of the apartment is fantastic if you're keen to explore the old town in Dusseldorf, it overlooks the Marktplatz and is a stone's throw from the shops, bars and restaurants that Dusseldorf can offer. For two people, the apartment is wonderfully spacious and the facilities are great, for example, TV's in both the lounge and bedroom and offers it's own outside terrace. The owner who welcomed us couldn't be more friendly and helped us to connect to the WiFi the apartment offers, plus explaining all other facilities. I'd highly recommend this.

No real complaints. At the time we visited (Nov 2022) they were renovating a building opposite the apartment and the building works could be a little loud at times, but I suspect that will only be a problem for another month or so. There was slight confusion about checking in, we assumed the owner would be arriving from elsewhere to meet us and provide keys, but I believe he lives in one of the other apartments in the building. He was waiting for us to ring the doorbell whilst we stood outside waiting for someone to turn up! Minor misunderstanding which I hope others won't share. Aside from this I can't fault it!

Apartment inside an apartment right at in the centre of the old town - just a minute or so from bars and places to try altbier! Fantastic location, very clean, friendly owner. Fans provided came in very handy during a heatwave. This would be a good place for anyone doing any work - the living room contains a huge, old-fashioned desk.

The mattress was a little shallow, but it didn't stop me from sleeping! Lots of noise from outside, but that's what comes with the location - the bedroom is away from the worst of it.

Nice spacey apartment in the Altstadt with lots of books and a view on the old Rathaus. Very friendly host. Homemade jam for breakfast. Terrace with morning sun.

Bed could have been a bit more comfortable.
