They called us ahead of time to ask if we would like two rooms together (yes we asked for it) with a connecting door, perfect for our family arrangement! We had a wonderful time, they truly are catering to families, they have a wonderful terrace, with fountain and sandpit for the little ones. Also two charging places for Electric cars. Lots of dutch electric cars staying the night so good place for night on the trip to somewhere else. In the morning they prepared, unasked, a breakfast table with high chair for us. They really are perfect for staying! We'll be coming again if we're travelling around here.

Nothing dramatic, the hotel is next to a busy trainstation, isolation is top notch. We've layn in bed feeling the trembling from a train but not hearing it. We slept wonderful, eventhough we had our doubts about the noises

Very nice room and bathroom. Excellent bed. Perfectly sound proof windows. Excellent and sympathetic dinner. Warm welcome at the reception. Nice terrace in front of the hotel well behind local traffic. Good breakfast. Half of our party could arrive by train with very little walking time. Could even charge my EV for free.

Staff at breakfast a bit rough, would not propose much unless you ask. Not possible to have the windows open even with the limited speed in front of the hotel to 30. Lack of privacy in the bathroom.

Travelling to or from expensive Switzerland, this makes for a very convenient and affordable alternative place to stay near the border. As mentioned by the guesthouse, it is next to a train station. This makes it perfect if travelling by train, although some might find the occasional noise a little disturbing. However, the rooms are well aired and so we were able to keep the windows closed, which almost completely removed the noise from the trains anyway.

Freshly renovated hotel, very confortable and beautiful. Free parking on premises and access to the motorway (ideal for overnight on the way to Italy. Good breakfast (a la carte) and great value compared to Swiss hotels.

The lady from the breakfast was not really nice. We could not sit outside. The restaurant at night was good, nice food and beyond German 'standard' food, but a little overpriced, probably influenced by neighboring Switzerland.

I wished I could stay there again. The hotel is super clean, modern decor with spacious patio. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was fantastic, super friendly and super helpful. We came for breakfast late they still made it for us to order. I have been to many hotels and I have not been as impressed with the staff and the cleanliness of one as much as with this one 👍👍👍👍👍

The location is perfect, close to the Autobahn. The room and bathroom are nice, enough space.

I think the breakfast is a bit ‘old-fashioned’ We prefer a buffet breakfast. We don’t eat meat, less bread, so you had to throw away everything. Instead we like fruit, yoghurt, müsli, more cheese. We asked for yoghurt and we got it, but I did not dare to ask also for fruit.

Excellent beds. Comfortable bathroom. Everything very clean. Room on the side of the road and opposite side to the railroad was well insulated against noise. Good airconditioning. Check-in/out was quick and friendly. Our dog was allowed for a reasonable surcharge.

An open parking place was a couple hundred meters away (close ones taken due to wedding party?). Service at breakfast was below standard: what we received was tasty, but covid regulations required that guests be served at their table (no buffet option) and there was just one staff member serving, leading to long delays and still several items missing (we sat for more than 1 hour, had a long day of driving ahead, and decided not to wait for amends on all that was forgotten, e.g., croissants, yoghurt, eggs, that we did see included at some other tables).

Everything! A great and personal welcome! Great food, a spacious and very clean room with great beds. We had a one night stop on the way to Italy. Have tried and dismissed multiple hotels in the South-East of Germany. Zum Loewen made sure we never have to search again!
