The hotel and its surrounding area are clean, people are very friendly. The restaurant was busy in the evening which is usually a good sign and indeed the food was excellent. The parking place was fully occupied by guests from the restaurant when we arrived so we had to park around the corner at first. But later in the evening we could move the car onto the parking lot.

Good room, fine shower, good bed (bit small), good breakfast, friendly staff. It's nearby highway, so ideal if you are on transit.

We were with the two of us but the bed was only made for one person. Parking place was quite small, there was only one small spot left, we were lucky that we didn't arrive 10 minutes later. TV had only German channels.

The rooms were clean and beds were perfect for a good night's rest. The staff at the reception was very helpful. It was quiet even though the car park and railway were very close to the building.

There were plenty of choices for breakfast but the layout could be improved by moving the location of the food. It was close to the bar but the space was very tight. The senior staff was strict and my friend saw her rolling her eyes when her junior was asking for her support.

Breakfast was very nice with large selection of hot food, bread, semmeln, cake etc.. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location with bus stop in front of hotel; Bus #55 passes every 30 min into downtown Basel. Lots of free parking; some nice restaurants in walking distance. Vitra museum in walking distance too.

The hotel is located near a train station from where you can reach Basel in 5-10 minutes. However it is a quiet hotel, the noise from the train is unnoticeable. Breakfast was very tasty, varied and hearty. The room was spacious and comfortable.

In general I liked pretty much everything

The hotel is a bit far from Weil am Rhein centre (fortunately there are decent connections by train and bus).

Small hotel well situated for travelers in southern Germany and Switzerland. The hotel itself is e extremely clean and comfortable with friendly helpful staff who ensured a pleasant stay. A lovely and substantial breakfast was included in the excellent price.

The restaurant was superb. Breakfast was fantastic and very delicious. Rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly.

Maybe a bit personal but the beds were very uncomfortable to sleep, the mattresses were extremely soft that we almost vanished in them.

It was quiet, clean, everything you need for one night stay was available. Close to Basel and walk distance to Vitra house. Very good breakfast - Mediterranean style. Family owned business. Very friendly and easy going people.

Maybe mattress was a bit too hard for my taste but it's not a big deal...

our room smelled like cigarette smoke. it was a non smoking room and I didn’t tell them about it at check in. I had hoped the room would air out. next time; I will ask to switch rooms.
