The title says it all really. Friendly, helpful and experienced staff at very pleasant airport hotel. The place is not expensive. Room clean and well equipped for class of hotel. The staff responded to all my queries about an unfamiliar airport. The said they would call a taxi to the terminal for my early flight when needed as "it only takes 2 minutes" but there was already one there when I came out of the lift. I like that. The decor and environment was much more pleasant on the eye than I anticipated. Small food items available at the bar which was wonderful as my stay was the night of heavy rain and thunder storms and I did not want to go out to the restaurants round the corner! Can't review the breakfast as I left early but if I'm sure it will be good if the muffins are anything to go by!

so close to airport! about a 20 min walk to terminal 1 and right across from terminal 2. Beds and pillows were insanely comfy (even in dorms), tv in the room was nice touch, kitchen and all other facilities were awesome to have

had to wait a while to check in, seemed like almost always a line at front desk. Bed situation was a bit confusing because in some dorms it’s 2 bunk beds then 2 beds pushed together normally so almost forms a double bed… I was worried I’d be basically sharing a bed with someone if they came in but staff assured me they only sell 5/6 available beds in those types of rooms, so someone gets an extra big bed!

This hotel is located in a newer area with a bunch of airport hotels, which is conveniently located within just a 2-minute train ride to the airport terminal. The staff members were very friendly during the check-in process. There is a nice hotel bar in the lobby if you so desire. The room was very basic, though it had everything you need for a quick stay when commuting to/from the airport. The WIFI was fast and reliable. The bed was moderately comfortable, but the pillows were a little too soft for our liking.

The air conditioning was not working, so we had to sleep with the window open all night to cool things off. Hopefully, the A/C will get fixed/turned on before it gets too hot during summer. The bathroom was small and reminded us of a Japanese hotel bathroom size.

Pedro the front desk receptionist is an outstanding job employment. Very efficient, informative and personable. The location to the S-bahn is terrific.

No air conditioning. We were told to open the window. Breakfast was to expensive, so the 3 of us passed. We were told there was a luggage scale available but it had already been checked out. When I asked again a few hours later, I was told there was none to be had. Credit card had to be used for the purchase of snacks & beverages. Cash should be an option. Beer selection was limited to two choices. Should have a couple more.

The hotel is close to the airport (2-minute train ride to Terminal 1), easy to reach by train (something like a 300 m walk to the station), there is a supermarket in the vicinity. Staff was helpful (needed tips on how to get to the airport). I appreciated desk space in the room and the various electric outlets (USB, non-EU as well). It struck me that the hotel could easily be used as a base for day trips to Frankfurt (around 15-minute ride). Had to use it because DB cancelled night trains from my city to the airport, and my flight was at dawn - and the plan worked. I was even able to work a bit at the desk.

10 min by walk to the Frankfurt airport terminal 2. Less than 1 min walk to the Frankfurt Gateway Garden station. There are few restaurants and 1 grocery store in less than 5 min walking distance too. The location is simply amazing. Also I have to mention the friendly staff as well. When I checked in, the reception staff asked me if I wanted to sleep in next day. Then he changed my room to a quieter one on the top floor. I will definitely come back again next time I fly from Frankfurt 😆

The hotel was clearly busy, but the staff were really helpful and friendly still. The room was really nice and modern, very comfortable with nice facilities. Close to the S-bahn as well, so convenient if you're looking to for somewhere close to the airport but not isolated.

I was under the impression that the city tax was included in the original payment, but I had to pay it when I arrived. Perhaps I had misunderstood (and it was only 2eu so not that annoying). There wasn't much bad to say, the only annoying thing perhaps was lots of email communication leading up to the stay.

I missed a connection and needed to stay overnight near the airport. The Meininger was among several hotels on the list I got and I chose it for the location and the price. It was good value for money, the room was certainly large enough for an overnight stay and the bathroom clean and well-fitted. It was well-served by taxis and I had no problem getting to the airport for an early flight.

The light switches and outlets are under the night table (which is attached to the wall) so it took some time to find them. As I only had my carry-on bag, I had no alarm clock except my phone and they have no wake-up service.

Very friendly welcome on arrival and fast check in. Close proximity to airport. Pretty good breakfast

The shuttle bus operates until 10pm which the hotel should have made me aware of when I shared my expected arrival time rather than telling me to take the bus. Having waited unsuccessfully in the cold for 45 minutes, I tried to call reception but no ine picked up despite several attempts. Taxi drivers refuse to take this short trip, so I was pretty much stranded which made an already short night very short

This was a FRA transit stop landing 10pm and leaving 8am. The Meininger provided a comfortable time-efficient place to sleep. The Shuttle service from FRA was good. Free to hotel EUR6 return.

The initial confirmation I got mentioned booking taxies but did NOT mention how to get the free Shuttle to the hotel. When I emailed the hotel they provided excellent prompt information on how to find the Shuttle. So GOOD once I asked but the information should have been in the confirmation email.
