Das Gästehaus der Elb Lounge

I've had an absolutely fantastic stay here! The staff went above and beyond, and exceeded all expectations: they were kind enough to inform guests about possible road/transport closures way in advance, and kindly warmed up my very own meals. The place itself is straight from a fairy tale, being located in a mansion in a picturesque and peaceful part of the city, you cannot believe, you are a few stations away from the rustle and bustle of Hamburg. Yes, it is not very central, but if you ended up here, you probably know it already. Comfortable beds, huge bathroom. You get access to hot water/tea and there's always fresh fruit on offer. The rooms on top floors have an adjacent balcony, which is an absolute blast, especially in good weather.

The only inconvenience was the fact that the reception hours are somewhat limited (in case you need something in th afternoon/evening, you'd need to wait until tomorrow), but it's not super unusual.

receptionist was so helpful and friendly ,rooms super clean and warm , cosy , prices high a little bit but the area was super peaceful and high quality, if you expect to listen your mind and rest , this hotel is really suitable.You can go for a walk around elb and for going to center of hamburg ,you should get a bus and train, also only bus but it takes 40 min

The location is excellent, close to nice walks and only a few minutes from Blankenese. Room size excellent and staff very helpful! Decent breakfast. Overall, very nice place to stay!

The only thing, as other customer mentioned, is that the lack of soundproofing. Other than that, all was great!

Room was nice and clean, warm and cozy. Breakfast was amazing! Everyone very friendly. Neighborhood is beautiful, close to a nice park and the river.

Check-in time is very limited, make sure you check that it fits your plans. Even though the neighborhood was very nice, there isn't much around, you have to get out quite a bit to find something to eat.

Very good location in quite neighbourhood, bus stop 112 and 22 (very) close to Hotel, tea and fresh fruit offer on each floor, cleanliness good value for money when booking breakfast (with really fresh fruit salad and not the typical defrosted fruit salads)

Nice area, great location to visit Hamburg, free parking on the street, bus in front of the house, S-bahn in 10 min walk. Tea and fruit available daily. Easy self check-in via a keybox. Would return definitely.

It was clean , room was really nice, stuff was so polite , location was so peacfull.

Only one problem was there for me. There was no good voice isolation.

The room was nice, clean, with a nice view to the garden.

The staff spoke only German, and the communication could be for other guest difficult.
