Location of hotel is perfect! We especially loved spending time on the outside terrace overlooking the Elbchausse River and laden with graceful trees which came alight at night. Most awesome views!

The dinner menu. Options were limited. However, 💯% for opulence & flare.

The location was beautiful, the breakfast excellent (although not quite up to the same standard as 12 ago).

I had to pay an unexpected surcharge of EUR 80 because the receptionists were not aware that I had reserved two rooms for a total of 4 people altough I could show that Booking had confirmed my reservation as indicated. I therefore expect a refund of the additional payment from the party responsible for the mishap.

Such a lovely place to stay outside the hussle and bustle of Hamburg. Our room had a wonderful view of the Elber - Otis Redding could have been describing the place when he wrote "Dock of the Bay".

Nothing negative just a couple of comments. Complimentary car parking would be nice. Perhaps a slightly wider breakfast selection. But a truly lovely place to stay in Hamburg

Where can I begin, truly one of the best hotel experiences I've had. I love the history of the hotel along with the friendly staff who are willing to go well and beyond to help out and the smile that never leaves their faces truly made an everlasting impression. I will definitely be coming again if I ever visit Hamburg next time.

Nothing, there is nothing I did not like.

Very stylish property with history and charm, nicely located in upscale private house district. Has an excellent restaurant and bar with Elbe views. If possible, stick to the main building and river views. P.S. Do you know that the property is represented in works of art (you can see at least one in Hamburg's museums).

Loved the friendly and excellent service loved the view on river Elbe, the comfortable bathtub and the excellent dining loved the family ways. Staying in Jacobs is like staying at home in Hamburg. Thank you!

Breakfast service is extremely poor. Staff needed. Waiting time 5 min to get seated, then 20 min to order Coffee and a small piece of Cheese Recommend taking breakfast outside of Jacobs

The breakfast was wonderful. Delicious and of high quality. Fantastic service. We loved also the option to have dinner on the Lindenterasse with a beautiful view on the river Elbe.

The bathtub entry is difficult and also the bath tub is slippery when taking a shower. In fact I slipt in while taking a shower. Fortunately nothing serious happened.

The stuff is exceedingly professional, the service is to the point. Rooms are marvelous and contain everything you can dream of.

Amazing staff, lovely food, lovely hotel.

A very small point, my room was very hot and unable to adjust the heating.
