On a scale from 1 to 10, this hotel's location is a 20. It is right next to Hamburg's beating heart - the St. Pauli Reeperbahn entertainment district. For people who like to walk - you can walk safely around this area any time of day and night, the entire area is lively and full of people (if you are not a walker, there is an underground train station in front of the hotel). As a female who was alone I felt very safe, both in the area and when entering the hotel and my room. Despite being in the entertainment district, the hotel is extremely quiet - I did not hear a single sound during my stay. The room was beautiful and very clean, the bed comfy and the view from the window lovely. The hotel is also a short walk to Hamburg docks - the landmark St. Pauli landing docks. This hotel is not very close to the city's center (in terms of walking), but you need to be in the center only if you are planning to sleep in the evenings as all businesses close relatively early in Germany. A note regarding footwear - unlike, for example, the Las Vegas Strip where glass is strictly forbidden, the streets of Hamburg's entertainment district tend to be covered in broken glass (they are cleaned on a daily basis, but people brake glass again :-)), so wear shoes with a hard sole.

I loved everything about this hotel and I would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent location - just around the corner of Reeperbahn street, and at walking distance from the Elbe river, directly connected to the airport via S1 train - for a traveler who wants not only to explore Hamburg, but to feel its way of life. The interior of the hotel is nicely designed. There are desks with lamps and excellent wi-fi in the rooms, ideal for someone who comes to work. Very good breakfast, especially sweet parts, coffee and juices. You also get a token for a free drink of your choice. High level of security - you have to scan your key card to enter the hotel and use the elevator. If you are leaving Hamburg late in the day and need to leave your baggage after check-out, you can also do it very safely at the reception.

Rooms are small and not equipped for much wardrobe, so you should keep most of it in your suitcase. There is no fridge in the room - if you want to drink beer in the room, you should buy it cold in some of the shops nearby and drink it immediately. You don't get any glass or a cup in the room - I drank water with my bare hands in the bathroom. Cleaning the room and replacing sheets and towels is rare - once in a few days.

The location was the best thing about our stay, right next to an S-bahn station and quickly gets you to any of the major attractions. Our rooms were back facing and super quiet. Everything was clean and beds were very comfortable. They give you extras (pillows, towels...) upon request. AC didn't work the first night but they fixed it and then it worked perfectly. You can store your bags there after check out.

They don't clean the rooms until after check out for environmental reasons, but if you really need to, you can ask them. It's not an issue for short stays, but maybe for long ones. As compensation they gave us free drinks at the bar. Rooms are small and don't have closets.

tbh I liked the room very much, specially AC option if ur traveling during the summer season, this is a best choice. Room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the TV with HDMI input and Apple airplay option was felt as home, coffee was complimentary in the morning even I didn't book the breakfast. The best is that u have everything you need around the hotel.

Receptionist needs some professional training to welcome and communicate with the guest during check-in and check out. No hand wash and shower gel in the room. Door locked was damaged so I was afraid to leave the room alone but it's a temporary technical problem.

Location was excellent as the concert venue was near and the Reeperbahn S-bahn station was around corner with direct connection to airport via S1-line. Breakfast was good. Room and hotel in general was clean and at least my room facing to back garden was surprisingly quiet.

The check in took a long time as there was a big group before me that seemed to have some issues in their reservation. There was no glass in the room for drinking water. Maybe I could have got one from reception but I did not bother. City tax 6,42 euro was not included in the Booking.com payment and I had to pay it at check in. The night life at Reeperbahn was wild but I got safely to hotel through the crowd after concert. The hotel is luckily a bit away from the main red light area.

The property was immaculately clean the staff were really lovely and helpful allowed us to store our luggage before check on to we could go sight seeing. The location was brilliant 2 minutes walk to metro which when to city centre airport we brought a day group ticket for 13 euros ! There was a lidli literally next door which was great for snacks and drinks . A positive experience altogether Well done team

The decor was unusual the flooring makes your eyes go funny ! Not able to make a hot drink although wee we could go to reception

We stayed for 2 nights beginning of December. The location is great, just around the corner of St Pauli and a 3 minutes walk to the metro station and also the city center can be reached in about 30 minutes walk. The room size was ok, everything was really clean. The bed was a bit to soft for me but that is always personal opinion. The staff was friendly and helpfull. We had some issues with the heating as it was too warm for us to sleep and the reception team in the evening was able to sort this out quickly for us. The hotel offers a breakfast for a good price and I have to admit when we saw it we regretted a bit that we had already made other arrangments and could not enjoy it as it look absolutely inviting. Nevertheless even with not booking a breakfast you are free to have a tea or coffee which is made fresh from whole beans and is absolutely delicious. A special thank you goes to Pino from the morning staff for his great sevice and giving us a good laugh already early in the morning! Would definitely recommend this hotel for this price and would always come back.

The personnel was very adequate. We were standing in line to check-in and a lady came to help us do the self check-in, and explained everything in English.

The room didn’t have any amenities, a kettle to prepare a coffee or a tea, and not a mini fridge where we could keep some water/snacks. The shower head should be cleaned properly or replaced, since it was not fully working. Even though it’s not far from the center the location is not the best. Nothing at all happened to us but we didn’t feel very safe.

Breakfast was excellent and healthy. Room was very comfortable.

Couldn’t open window due to a nightclub next door which played loud music till 3 am. Even with window closed the noise kept us awake. The area outside the hotel had prostitutes on the corners at night, lots of homeless people, sex shops and other similar premises. Also wasn’t located close to any places of interest.

There isn't much to say about the place; it was good. It is located very close to the party zone of Hamburg, but not directly inside which is nice because the noise is practically non existent. It was a hot summer day, but the place had AC, which was highly appreciated, also is well connected, the train station Reeperbahn is in the corner just some meters away.

I haven't been in the first hotel in Germany with good pillows so I guess it's not directly related to this place, perhaps they are just not my taste.
