The breakfast was great with both white and whole wheat bread buns, variety of juices, scrambles eggs and different things to put on your bread buns (cheese/meat products). Breakfast was also served at good times (until 10 during the week, until 11:30 on the weekends). Rooms were as described with comfortable beds and very spacious in general. Very close to the metro station that is connected to a metro line that reaches almost all places in city centre (including Hamburg Hbf and Hamburg-Harburg Hbf), which we found very practical. Hotel lies in the middle of Hamburg's red light district, which is amazing if your main goal is to party et cetera.

I had expected some amenities in the form of shampoo/soap in the bathroom, but they didn't have these. Indeed the rooms offer a "city view", but this is city view also a noisy party street (Reeperbahn). This isn't bad in itself, but beware if you are a light sleeper (bring ear plugs!) or if partying is not your main purpose in Hamburg. Although I personally thought breakfast was really good, vegetarians would pretty much be limited to cheese and scrambled eggs, and I don't think a vegan person would be able to eat much.

Staying here was actually a nice surprise! After reading the reviews, I was mentally preparing myself for the noise that would come from the streets since I'm a light sleeper. Still, I was fully aware that this was a possibility and booked the place because of its excellent location. The hotel itself is quite simple, but oh my the room was spotlessly clean (extra points for that)!! With the windows open, you can definitely hear people yelling, but once you close them, all the noise is just gone. I had zero trouble sleeping :) the bed was comfy, I overslept and lost breakfast which was very sad to me (hahah). Overall, I had a pleasant night and I would stay there again.

Nothing really to complain about, I just think the rooms could be a little more affordable $ (it could also be the period I was staying was a bit more expensive).

The staff is very friendly and nice. The rooms are big and comfortable, with great bathrooms. Breakfast is quite good. During the day is a very quiet hotel if you need to work or do your things. The position is quite central.

Unfortunately, the area is not the quietest in Hamburg. You can hear music from clubs, and this requires closing the windows. Without air conditioning is very warm. If you have to work, consider that The wifi in the room is quite shaky (at least in mine)

Breakfast was amazing, everything was super fresh (bread was warm at 11am!). Front desk works 24/7 and they are very helpful with tips and recommendations what to visit/see/eat in Hamburg. Water pressure in the shower is really good.

Location of the hotel is in the busiest street in the city, be prepared to get some earplugs and melatonin pills. Other than that we have no complaints, we had a really pleasant stay at St. Josephs hotel.

Well it was different, As Advertised above a Disco , Staff were Friendly and armed with my Ear Pieces I was Ready to Go. I've stayed in Hamburg before and always used Hotel 66, But this was off the Reeperbahn , So what was I Expecting ! The Room was Very Good, The Breakfast was very Nice , Pleasantly Surprised.i didn't use ear pieces but the music played till about 0945. I Slept Through it. Not for Families in my opinion but Someone wanting Something Different Yes .

The hotel staff, room, breakfast and parking were all exceptional and for a min price. Couldn't recommend this hotel more for all it has to offer at such a low price for high quality service and literally in the Reeperbahn but inside its own very peaceful courtyard. View on Google maps. Will be staying again and recommending it to friends going to Hamburg.

it was clean and if you want to be in party central then your in the right place, the nightclubs didn’t stop until 9:15am on Sunday morning and there are plenty of men’s places there too, literally everywhere 24/7 and it’s mental!!

it was very noisy on Saturday night as it’s so central to the strip in St Pauli but Sunday night was very quiet, do your pre work before you go so you know where you want to be

Decent and clean room. Good bed and the bathroom was fine. Breakfast was great.

The location in the middle of Reeperbahn is not always very nice when arriving back at the hotel at night. I wouldn't recommend it to people traveling alone to walk through the hotel's street late at night.

Nice location, nice breakfast, friendly staff. But: please look exactly at the location. It is in the middle between many nightclubs. Great location if you want to party hard.

No air conditioning. Very loud 4/7 days a week. Know this before you go.

It's like an oasis in an otherwise unsafe area at night. Book a room with interior part of the hotel view and you re golden. Also breakfast was awesome and staff was friendly :) Will come again.

The room was comfy, but it wasn't totally clean. Not at the level that it would bother you but just something to keep in mind.
