This was the perfect overnight experience - a clean, cozy, centrally located and tastefully interior decorated hotel/hostel that makes you look forward to come back "home" after your city excursions. Plenty of space in the family dorm room, but also in the comfortable public areas. Really friendly staff, and a very descent looking breakfast, although we didn't try it. It's definitely down on our come back to next time we find ourselves in Hamburg, and a place I'd choose to stay even for a longer stay!

We missed a place to easily fill up out water bottles and wash out our own dishes. We had to kindly ask the kitchen staff to fill them up for us, which felt a little awkward!

I was a little worried after reading multiple reviews mentioning the noise at night, but decided to give it a try anyway, because I just needed a place to stay before an early flight and the rates looked great. In the end, it was utterly quiet - but I stayed on a Tuesday and my room had a window to the back. It's well connected via public transport and centrally located in Hamburg. All members of staff I encountered were really nice. Considering the location within Hamburg and the fact that this is a big city, it's very cheap for a single room with private bathroom. Everything was clean, my bed was comfortable and they even provide toiletries. I had a great (even if very short stay) and would book a room here again in the future.

Just something to be aware of: there are a lot of stairs in the property. I didn't have a problem with that, but if you have mobility issues maybe ask when booking which floor your room is located on.

Very well located between the St. Pauli underground station and the Reeperbahn S-Bahn station with a cosy breakfast room and lounge. Nice smokers terrace and tastefully furnished but simple rooms. Super nice, somewhat alternative-minded staff. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. Good for partying but also if, like me, you have to go to the airport the next day and are looking for a cheap place to stay for a night.

The bathroom smelled a bit musty like sewage. It's quite loud, I woke up several times from some shouting outside. Notice: You live right on the Reeperbahn.

Everything was nice and clean. People in the reviews complaining about the noise but in my room (304) there wasn't any. Room was small but for one person more than enough. The blonde lady on the reception desk was very kind and helpfull, so was the security gard who was working night shift. Location is perfect if you came to have fun. Altogether, if you wanna have fun in Hamburg, this is the place to stay.

Staff was rough - as exepected on the Reeperbahn - but suuuuuuupuer nice, also to our doggies. We got a room in the 5th floor, facing the back side - so we did not hear a beep. The parking garage is on the other side on the road - EUR 20 for 24h is a fair deal. Very nice coffee - breakfast looked fab (did not eat any - when we left at 0800 nooone else was up - ROFL) If one has no issue rubbing shoulders with the hoi polloi and considers five flights of stairs in lieu of a gym - GO THERE!!!

Wonderful hotel. The staff is super friendly. I was with a dog, no problem. It may be noisy for someone, but earplugs are kindly provided in the room. There is a terrace where you can go out for a smoke. The beds are very nice. Not too soft, not too hard. Good water pressure in the shower. Perhaps someone will not like that there is only one type of soap in the shower, but there is no shampoo, but no matter how sexist it sounds, I do not know any woman who washes her hair with a shampoo from a hotel and I do not know any man who cares what he washes his hair with. My dog and I were extremely satisfied.

The staff was kind and welcoming. It was possible to leave luggages and bags also before the check-in. The structure was totally new and quite clean. The heaters worked well

The noise from the street might be a problem, since there were many disco so close and people until late but we were so tired that we slept anyway. The bathroom was out of the room and it was no so clear from the advertisement. I preferred to have it into the room but I have to say that it was quite comfortable

Other reviews mentioned it could be loud so we expected as much - we got a room on the third floor facing the courtyard so we didnt hear the street at all. Earplugs were provided, as other reviews mentioned. We did wake up when people started to walk around and shower, but given the building and location the staff did everything in their power to accomodate us. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shared bathroom and shower.

The room is nice and modern, the bathrooms and everywhere else is clean. Staff were friendly.

It didn't feel particularly secure. You have to leave your key at the front desk whenever you leave the hostel and then get it back by giving a card which has the hotel and room number on it SO if you somehow lost the card on the street, someone could pick it up and potentially use it to get into your room. Also there is no key to get into the building and onto the floor where the rooms are, so the bathrooms and toilets could also potentially be used by anyone from outside. Small things are missing, such as a place to hang clothes and towels while in the shower. In the bedroom each bed doesn't have a power plug nearby so you can't charge your phone easily in the night.
