This hotel is purposefully and successfully designed for travelers on the go. The check in/check out process is as streamlined and self service as you want (with a section dedicated for airline crews) and is located literal steps from the airport terminal entrance. It had the typical Radisson features- excellent beds and bedding, nicely appointed rooms, and good amenities- though I did get the sense that it was a little pared down as is appropriate for the one night stays that airport hotels must typically see. As with other Radisson properties, the food was excellent- room service was quick and complete. The shower included a useable handspray so I could skip the (overrated) rain shower head. The cherry on top was an electric tea kettle in the room so I could make my own tea (I don't drink coffee)! After two weeks in several 4-5 star hotels, it was the first one that didn't turn hot water into a side quest!

For a one night stay where I'm not really using any amenities, the per night cost was a bit steep. Also, I had asked for adjacent rooms- we got them on the same floor but not terribly close. Very minor issue.

The hotel was a 5 minute walk across the car park at the airport which was really good to see. The staff were attentive and welcoming. My room was a good size with large bed, which was very comfortable, and a clean and well-designed bathroom. I liked the little touches, such as shoe shine, complementary water, different teas available. There were effective blackout curtains which were definitely needed. The breakfast offered a wide selection of different food and was buffet style so you could help yourself. Extremely clean with staff around who replenished supplies and kept it all looking tidy.

I really enjoyed the service provided by the team of the reception at any given time. friendly, kind and competent. there was no wait and all special requests were fulfilled

the service in the restaurant was lacking. whilst very attentive in the beginning, it was not straight forward that the menu would not be available as a print version. secondly after the order has been taken, follow up and up selling was lacking. 3rd beverage was forgotten completely and delivered after 15min without apology. fthe value for money was not given at the restaurant

In general a very nice hotel. Room was spacious and clean with good ventilation. I asked for allergy free room and room and bedding to be cleaned with fragrance free products and everything turned out fine. Good communication with the hotel before my stay, when I finally got a hold of someone. Breakfast is good and an early breakfast was arranged for an early morning flight.

Emailed a few times before booking and got no answer. Asked via phone if hotel was fragrance free and was told it was. When walked into the reception there was a strong fragrance smell. Not very eco friendly. Luckily the room was fragrance free.

The staff were absolutely fantastic! The manager Selim went above and beyond to make us feel special. Our flight got cancelled last minute(evening), by the time we checked in and were able to think about eating, the kitchen had closed as it was past 23:00. Selim not only went the extra mile, he also served us an amazing dinner! Thank you so much for turning our nightmare in to such a wonderful experience. The entire team working that evening in the restaurant/bar area were such a pleasure to talk to and made us laugh! Thank you all!

No hand soap in the washroom.

Right next to the the airport Terminal 2, location could not be better, especially for an early flight Currently undergoing some renovations, so reception area and restaurant were in a temporary set-up. The room itself was very nice and had a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower.

Lighting was ok but we would have been happier with brighter lighting. Be aware that the restaurant only accepts cards, not cash, this was not obvious until it came time to pay

Fresh, clean, big rooms with a great bathroom (with a nice rain shower!). Staff are friendly and welcoming. I absolutely love this hotel and would happily spend a few days here instead of just the single night when I’m flying early out of Hamburg,

Not much that I don’t like. Restaurant was a bit chaotic on my most recent stay, but that was because of the renovation going on. Apart from that the thing I didn’t like was having to leave 😊

I especially appreciated the location of this Radisson Blu. We really needed a property that was walking distance to the airport terminal as I needed to turn in my rental car the evening before. This was exactly what we needed: directly across from the terminal and equidistant from Terminal 1 and 2. Also the rooms are quite large compared to the Radisson Blu at the Zurich airport (which is also nice).

As in all European hotels, we cannot seem to get the temperature down to a very cool level. It was "tolerable": however I prefer the room a bit cooler and with the fan speed set to the highest level and the temperature at the lowest level we still couldn't fully achieve this.( Our stay was in August).

Closeness to the airport! Really helpful staff.

There was no hairdryer in the room. Quite uncomfy beds. Single beds too narrow. The matraces are not soft enough. The bed linen material is too rustling -when you turn, it makes an unpleasant sound that might disturb the other person in your room.

There was a computer malfunction with the hotel reservation system, and I was left roomless even though I had booked the room a few months prior. The staff rebooked me at a nearby Radisson that was much better. My room was also upgraded for free. Everything worked out in the end and I was very satisfied overall.

The staff at the Radisson (airport location) were nice enough but the communication about my room mix-up was extremely slow. The one front desk employee spent most of his time doing something in the back room. It was very frustrating and took a couple of hours to sort out.
