I especially appreciated the location of this Radisson Blu. We really needed a property that was walking distance to the airport terminal as I needed to turn in my rental car the evening before. This was exactly what we needed: directly across from the terminal and equidistant from Terminal 1 and 2. Also the rooms are quite large compared to the Radisson Blu at the Zurich airport (which is also nice).

As in all European hotels, we cannot seem to get the temperature down to a very cool level. It was "tolerable": however I prefer the room a bit cooler and with the fan speed set to the highest level and the temperature at the lowest level we still couldn't fully achieve this.( Our stay was in August).

There was a computer malfunction with the hotel reservation system, and I was left roomless even though I had booked the room a few months prior. The staff rebooked me at a nearby Radisson that was much better. My room was also upgraded for free. Everything worked out in the end and I was very satisfied overall.

The staff at the Radisson (airport location) were nice enough but the communication about my room mix-up was extremely slow. The one front desk employee spent most of his time doing something in the back room. It was very frustrating and took a couple of hours to sort out.

The room on the 5th floor was a good size, well laid out and comfortable. I had 2 very good nights sleep. Lovely to have tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom had all the facilities I needed with a nice strong shower and toiletries provided, including body lotion, which is a lovely bonus. The buffet breakfast has a HUGE range of options for every taste including a menu on the table for "specials" that are cooked to order.

The Circle Restaurant has a lovely layout and the menu for dinner is not big but caters for for varied tastes. However, there were items on the menu not available and happened to be what we would have ordered. Our waiter that served us at dinner was very efficient and pleasant however there were a couple more that served drinks that seemed as if they would rather be somewhere else.

Location, comfort, quietness

In theory I love the idea of the new check in system where you check yourself in—I’m also a huge fan of self-check at grocery stores, but the system had to work. This one repeatedly kicked me out before I could finish the check in process, often after a pause of only 5-10 seconds and with no warning, it wouldn’t let me pay with a card other than the one I made my booking with, and the one staff member who was supposed to help with check in was overwhelmed with helping several different stations and there is no way in the system to signal you need help, so there was just a lobby full of people who couldn’t make the machines work and couldn’t signal that they needed help.

Staff greeted us in a very friendly and professional manner. .. HELPFUL COMES TO MIND.

*** I booked from U.S. and Radisson Blu at the airport hotel seemed like the same Radisson for which our conference was being held. However, the conference was at Radisson Hotel Hamburg, and I thought an accommodation since both are Radisson's instead of the separate entity approach. RANDOM room selection in automatic check in but we did not ask to change or be accommodated, but hotel helped us stay on (business) mission, so we were happy and grateful.

A good hotel in walking distance from T1 entrance. Because of our early flight, we were even offered coffee and rolls at the lobby at 04:00. The hotel staff is very competent and helpful. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant which was very good. Knowing that you can find cheaper restaurants in the city, why bother traveling downtown if you're in the comfort of your hotel. As a result, the holiday starts at the airport even before taking off.

This lodging may very well be the most glamorous and well-appointed lodging that I have ever experienced, especially, as to aesthetic design, comfortable (and "up-scale") appointments, congenial and supportive staff...and dynamically delicious breakfast offerings in a tranquil atmosphere! I only wish that I wasn't a "bedraggled" disabled pensioner, and could afford the room rate more regularly.😉☺️

I cannot think of one thing to complain about! The Radisson BLU hotel chain is top-rate lodging!

We were both surprised by how very quiet the hotel was. When sleeping neither of us were aware of flights landing or taking off and slept without trouble. The buffet-style breakfast with very impressive, and excellent choice of both cooked and "healthy" options and most enjoyable as we had time in the morning. Once checked out it was easy and quick to find the train station in the airport for our onward journey.

The airport hotel is, as you might expect, at the entrance of the airport but for a new traveller to the airport it is not well signposted to find it at night. However, it is very easy to get to once you know! The check-in was rather slow due to computer problems but the staff were friendly and dealt with things as fast as they could.

We booked 2 times(day) before and after for going holiday to Hurghada. Both time the room was clean and not much noise . The Restaurant offered lovely food and kids coupon- kids got a free drink ticket and they used on the way back. At the reception area, there are some sweets for kids. Both time, the reception offered the connection room (2 twin room) which is absolutely fantastic option for the family.

1st time stay, we found the connection room is locked(not able to go through), didn't bother call the reception (looked busy). 2nd time we got 155 and 156, but they are totally different location. Funny. Although we did on-line check in via WhatsApp(send by Radisson), it is not working their system. I tried a self check with the PC at Radisson hotel to avoid standing the long que, after type all information, the PC didn't carry on work, then go to the que. The system is not what I expect with the airport hotel.

The location is perfect, just few steps from the airport At the same time, very quite, no any noise heard inside. Additional bed was arranged as requested. Room was very clean complimentary water available.

Self check in (out) is the good idea, but it's not really friendly use soft. As it's looks, each and every one needs an assistance. The only one receptionist was an available. And finally, registration procedure takes a bit longer time, than can be.
