The location is really ideal (especially if you travel by train), as it could not be closer to the train station. It is also right in the city center and the hotel actually faces the cathedral, which is really lovely! The breakfast is very good, and there is a lot to choose from The staff was very friendly and accommodating (regarding check-out time and breakfast time) The bed was very comfortable It was also very calm

It was rather expensive, and it might not be completely worth it as there is nothing exceptional about the room - it is all very simple. I guess that it is mainly due to the location, and it is true that it could not be closer to the city center and the train station but still, it is a bit much so the value for money is not great

A decent budget hotel with a superb location for tourists or if you have to take a train early the next morning. The hotel is located next to the train platforms and a few meters from the Catedral (Dom). Surprisingly, the rooms are quiet, and you hardly can hear the trains or the traffic.

the place to have breakfast in the hotel is small but you have plenty of places to have breakfast around and in the train station. sándwiches available in train station across Germany are really good and i highly recommend try some of the many baguettes filled with cheese, chicken or tomato.

Great location next to the main train station and opposite the cathedral, but no noise issues. Quick check-in and check-out. Room was clean and adequately sized. No hot drinks making facilities or safe. Bottle of communal shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom. Breakfast was served in a pleasant room on the first floor overlooking the square. Food options were varied and included scrambled egg and bacon (no sausage), cereals, bread and pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham and cold vegetables, as well as juice and hot drinks.

A safe is always useful especially in a city location. Otherwise nothing specific.

Everything about this stay was exceptional - the 5 star location right opposite to the Cologne Cathedral and near the Cologne Central Station, new and stylish room with the comfortable bed and pillows, great breakfast (they even had waffles and mint water). Everything was super clean and looked newly renovated. Shower was on a smaller side, but still plenty of room for toiletries. My stay was very nice and relaxing, I will definitely stay in this hotel again when in Cologne.

Right at the railway station, next to the cathedral. Basic, but proper comfort. Basic, but proper breakfast. The reception was quite helpful - we got an extra hour to check-out.

Though we got an extra hour to check-out, the cleaning personnel was not informed, and when we went back to our room they were just finishing cleaning. The square outside is very noisy, so you have to keep the window closed, but if there is sunshine, the room becomes very hot, ad there are no shutters.

The position is in the train station building, perfect if you need to catch a train in the early morning. The staff at the reception is very professional and friendly. They sell drinks at the reception open 24hours. There was a nice view from my window and the room was soundproof.

No amenities,leave at least a toothbrush in the toilet would be nice add.

This hotel is at the railway station and opposite the cathedral across the square. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is well worth having, saving a little time to explore. They also have a secure room where you can store your luggage while exploring for an hour or two before you catch the next train.

Easy check-in, friendly staff, and the hotel is in a superb location right next to the main railway station and near the famous dom and city centre.

The hotel is as good as many similiar hotels I've stayed at, although I think it was a bit over-priced on the days I wanted to stay. However, that said I thought it was worth paying extra simply for the hotel's convenient location by the railway station. I arrived and left by train after my stay.

Great location. Right outside Cologne Main Station. I was on fourth floor and there was no external noise. I could see top of Cologne Cathedral from window. Excellent Wi-Fi. Room cleaned every day. Breakfast (15 Euros) was good, a wide variety of food. I had breakfast every day. Staff all nice and helpful. Air Con in room was great as weather was hot.

Nothing I disliked

The hotel was great. Really good location and close to shops, restaurants and train/bus station. Room was small but was to be expected. Bed was comfy and it had a good powerful shower.

No facilities to make tea. No kettle in the rooms or even in the reception area. However there was a Starbucks a few doors down, that we could buy cups of hot water.
