perfect for a car enthusiast, restaurants and battle cart all under the same roof

Had a family get together at the steak restaurant opposite the reception desk . The male receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional regarding two little children playing. He didn’t want them playing with their own toy cars on the floor - out of the traffic area. He didn’t want them sitting at a small table - unused by others . He came over absolutely irate , even though they weren’t loud, not damaging anything, had been not more than 5metres away from us and were not in the way. Customer Service Training or a different job might be in order …

Everything. The whole concept was brilliant. As a petrolhead this hotel is better than any other hotel you can think of. Loved the cars which were in Motorworld, the car memorabilia and decor. Was also treated exceptionally well, and was given the 007 James Bond suite which was amazing. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, having my car visible, right near my bed was unbelievably awesome. I totally loved it. I was also given a tour by the reception staff who were very friendly, welcoming, and professional. I can’t thank them enough for giving me such a memorable experience. I’d really love to stay here again, and wish there were more V8 Hotels in every country. UK included!! As there are many petrolheads there, and a big car and motorcycle community.

There was nothing to dislike

The V8 Hotel was everything we expected and more. Loved the themed room. Great selection of food for breakfast. Quite a number of places to eat. Quite a cool place. So glad we decided to stay there. Very unique and special. Loved Motorworld. Such an honour to see Michael Schumachers private collection as well as the other cars. Would recommend to others. The revving sound in the lift...great !!!

Small pillows on the bed. There was other pillows in the wardrobe which I'd say were washed but still had stains.

We stayed in a car room and loved it. Head lights come on on the car , the room is pretty spacious and the design of the hotel itself pretty cool. Breakfast buffet was very good , loved the access to Motorworld and Battle Carting . Staff were very friendly.

The cups were not clean at all. I always clean them anyway . When I asked for an iron and ironing board - no e in the room- I had to go down to reception to get it .

This hotel is an absolute dream. We stayed at the start of our european road trip and came back again it was that good. The rooms are stunning, the staff are great and the cars next door are a sight to behold. I would advise anyone to stay here as its easily the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Special mention to the steakhouse next door the food and staff in there are both fantastic.

There is not a single fault for me.

This place is amazing. Stunning atrium with beautiful classic cars, fabulous fusion food, easy parking and access to central Köln by tram. The themed room was truly extraordinary with many small details making it even more entertaining. A bonus to have direct access from the hotel to Motorworld and the Michael Schumacher car exhibition. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Köln!

Stuff has very smiley faces and welcoming. They did mistake with the room standard of my payment booking but they replaced their mistakes straight after i complained. Breakfast was good. Upgraded offer room was perfect. This was my second visit why not become 3 or 4 or more....

I was travelling with my son only shower unit was transparent it should be some choice not to show so much transparent with whom to share the room. They have could added extra curtain from outside on the glass wall.I stayed room "003"

The hotel is really confortable and ideally located, as there is a train to go directly to Koln city center. I have loved the car environment : this is more than a basic hotel, this is an amazing experience !

I would have liked to have more pillows in the room, a coffee machine and a boiler to make some tea. Moreover, the shower gel and the shampoo should be in small bottles, as it is the case in the majority of 4 stars hotels.

-Car theme in hotel and rooms is fantastic ! Race cars (McLaren) in lobby. -Next to motorworld museum and on historic former airfield -Very friendly personnel -Elevator with race sound ! -Free spacious parking -Very elaborated breakfast

-Pillows too thin (you can request thicker pillows) -Doors of other rooms are making a lot of noise in the morning

car theme was consistent throughout the whole building with a range of old and new cars to see, especially at the museum next door. The themed room was really cool and clean not to mention spacious and comfortable too!
