Excellent service good communication, clean, comfortable and lovely breakfast. We were made feel welcome by hosts. Our dog was welcome food/water bowl and treats in room when we arrived. Free bottles of water and fruit during stay. 10 min walk to metro station.

Room was warm so we needed the window open. The traffic was noisy it didn’t bother us too much as we live in noisy road in London. If you want a quieter night request room facing away from road or fan in room.

Very friendly staff in charge at breakfast and dealing with bookings and taking payment at the same time in the rather small breakfast/reception area.

Our rooms were across the car park in an annexe. Perfectly clean and our rooms were as described, but we couldn't get WIFI in our rooms and there wasn't anywhere in the main building to sit and use the WIFI as the reception and breakfast rooms were tiny and not available in the evening.

This little hotel illustrates exactly why I do not book a room in a big modern facility, it has charm and it’s well located. There is an amazing Turkish grill on the other side of the street and a very convenient parking, very friendly staff. A true Köln experience.

It’s a bit noisy but it’s a city hotel, you here cars or people talking in the lobby but nothing really annoying.

Very nice and comfortable family-run hotel. The room was very small, but convenient. Elevator is well appreciated. Friendly and helpful people here.

The only downside is that the reception closes at 6pm (or even earlier, which was my case), but the hosts are communicative and there’s no issue with it. Just keep it in mind in case you might have additional needs.

The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Lovely lady. Hotel was very clean and good value for money.

There was no kettle or facilities to make in room beverages.

Our rooms were light, spacious and clean. The host looked after us perfectly. Breakfast was great - lovely fresh boiled eggs each morning and a selection of breads, meat, cheese and fruit. The hot shower was fabulous! Great little find!

Friendly staff and flexibility for me to check both in and out at short notice. Cleanliness a strength and a good breakfast.

The location is somewhat away from the city centre (although with pleasant spots nearby); the shower specifically (unless I misunderstood how this worked) lacked a curtain or similar to prevent water spillage.

The location is really quiet and the staff is friendly and non-intrusive. The room is perfectly clean! Water pressure in the shower is excellent. The double bed is comfy. We overslept the breakfast as we were really tired, appreciate the staff for not waking us up:) Overall a great stay.

The staff were wonderful - they were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and transport options. The bed was comfortable and the room was lovely.

The only negative is the limited options for dinner nearby.

The room was completely clean and the woman attending us was very kind helping us in what we need.
