I stayed at Hotel Bilger Eck during my 18-day solo cycling trip along the Rhine. I arrived in pouring rain, soaking wet and it was wonderful to find this welcoming inn with an Irish pub downstairs. There were very adequate facilities for storing my bike, the room was really nice with a view onto the garden at the front of the pub. There was partying in the night outside but my windows were highly soundproofed so noise was not a problem at all. The convenience of the pub for a meal downstairs was just wonderful, staff were great and I felt very much at home there and would have liked to have stayed another night. Breakfast was perfect, not a wide range of choice but perfectly adequate. I'll certainly come back here if I'm in Konstanz another time and would highly recommend this hotel for cyclists and travelers. Especially those that have a thing for Irish pubs!

I wouldn't change a thing.

Really enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff. Room was cozy and very clean. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. Shower was great too! We enjoyed our Guinness in the bar and the meal we had in the evening was good and plentiful. Nice breakfast with choice of cereals, pastries, cold meats and boiled or scrambled eggs. Good coffee too. Easy walk to the quaint old town for the christmas market, which was worth the visit. Would book again.

Parking was the only, very slight issue. We unloaded our car next to hotel and found free parking on the residential street close to the hotel. Left car for two days and no problems.

Really nice location on the river. Breakfast was really good. Particularly like that they would make you a real cappuccino at the bar if you asked as part of your breakfast. Also liked the air conditioning in the room as it was August and a bit toasty outside.

Our room was on the front of the building on the street side so there was a bit of traffic. But once we discovered how to make the A/C work and close the windows it was pretty quiet. Parking was a bit of a challenge although there was a parking garage nearby and it wasn't very expensive.

Very spacious rooms, clean and tidy, stayed for 8 nights and they refilled my tea and coffee sachets multiple times.

TV didn't really work and had bad reception with few functional channels.

The location is very convenient. Even though there is a busy road, the windows are soundproof. The breakfast is tasty, and the staff is considerate. Newly upgraded interior of the rooms. Very nice to get tourist bus cards and maps from the hotel.

Check-in procedure was not clear. They only give you one key.

Breakfast was excellent, Romanian crew catered to our every need! Mai was at the center of our happiness. She even booked us a place to leave our backdate at the train station. What a wonderful young lady!!!! Best Cheesburger that I have ever had at the hotel restaurant

It was perfect!

It was very nice! The whole team was very friendly and helpful with all kinds of ideas what we can visit and where we can eat at affordable prices. The room was very clean and the bed was super we could rest soft and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with fresh warm bread with drinks of different varieties from milk to tea, coffee and natural juices. It was really good! When we come back, we will surely stay to Bilger Eck again! 🙂

Everything was very good; comfortable room and bed, good shower, there was aircon and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was also very good. Just a short stroll to the river, the lake and the town. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.

Fresh baking at breakfast, friendly and very helpful receptionist, stylish and comfortable bedroom, silent and dark room at night time, lift was near our room, nice organic herbal teabags in the room

It was great!

The room was really comfortable, it was really clean and well prepared. I stayed on a weekend and it was really quiet in my room. Breakfast was really good too, plenty of variety and everything fresh. The location is ok, close to the city centre, it's a 15 min walk.
