The location is excellent. The room was large and light, really well presented and quirky modern and it had that all important coffee machine. The bed, oh the bed, and the quality of the sheets, wow, a real effort had to be made to get up.

The bathroom seemed to be an afterthought. The decoration is fine but the towels were small and scratchy and the shower drain in particular was so dirty, like ugh, I have to wash in here dirty. And on check in, there was a real hard sell on taking up the breakfast, it felt uncomfortable, really uncomfortable.

Always friendly, clean and comfortable. Air con, good facilities in the room, great shower, quiet. Have stayed here four times now I think and really love it.

Breakfast is a little bit confusing. It’s not clear where to go or what to do. If you can find one or the friendly staff members they are polite and helpful, but a few signs or instructions would help a lot

As a middle aged well travelled couple we found every aspect of The Townhouse exceptionally good from its helpful welcoming staff (thanks especially Hannah) to our comfortable well equipped studio and the hotel's convenient central location. We didn't eat breakfast - because we rarely do. But I used the gym and while it was compact it came with towels, water and fruit and excellent equipment. The staff helped us with luggage and made restaurant bookings for us, and changed them when we changed our schedules. We will happily return to The Townhouse in the future.

It couldn't have been better - it was a great base from which to explore Leipzig. Thank you.

This location is exceptionally good, next to the Bach museum, and located on the small plaza next to St Thomas Church, where he worked for 25 years. The plaza has his statue, trees, and nice cafés as well. The center of town is in walking distance. The hotel has a nice little restaurant that serves breakfast. The building is attractive and old. The rooms are spacious and modern, with big windows.

This place is pretty darned perfect. The only doenside is that our room looked out at a plain wall of another building very nearby. Would have been nice to see the garden or plaza. But there were sheet curtains, so we could make the windows attractive. We would definitely go back.

Rooms were stylishly decorated. Excellent starting point for discovering Leipzig (great city). We had a room to the courtyard, which was in principle quiet, but big garden has the densest sparrow population in western Europe...piep, piep

Staff at reception very "young", maybe still apprentices? Not exactly a problem, but communication style unexpected for such a big house

Wonderful: THey had a super power bowl glutenfree and lactosefree and delicious. And after the first day they remembered what I wanted and were very kind. I also liked to eat with the view on the Thomas church and the statue of Bach. I also liked that there was a sauna.

In the past this location had a restaurant where we could have dinner. The dinner option ceased to exist. That is a real pity, I hope that will return.

We just love the place! The location is brilliant, we asked for a special room number which the staff made happened, there are new a/c units in the room - just great for the weather conditions, the breakfast is a delight.

Cannot think of anything. To drive to the back door to the hotel is a bit complicated . But this is not the hotel's fault.

The hotel is in a beautiful central location by st Thomas church. The reception area is stunning and like a little sanctuary the rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

Breakfast is quite pricey, but from the restaurant menu, so probably worth it if if one is hungry. But there are plenty of cute Kaffees around for a smaller offering at a smaller price in beautiful settings.

I liked the friendly greeting when we arrived, our room was ready although we were early. Francesco gave us lots of information about where to eat, shop and drink. Our room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfortable. We did not have breakfast. Hotel is in a fantastic location, close to bars, restaurants and shops.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean, roomy and cozy. The location is great to explore the city center. We also really enjoyed the breakfast.
