Unlike most hotel rooms we encountered in Europe, this LiHo room had high ceiling and large floor area. The stuff at the hotel treats you as a relative: they help you naturally and instinctively 🙂. Ambience: owners have preserved a genuine 19th century burgeouis home before the elevator. Please spend 5 minutes to inspect how nicely 19th century middle class used to live 🙂 Spacy room, as well as shower. Overall feeling of cosiness. Very nice breakfast. Good beds soft enough with many soft pillows. If you are traveling by car, please reserve hotel parking well in advance. There is no street parking available reasonably. Breakfast superb. Hotel parking is underground high-teck: please ask receptionist to help you park underground. Exceptionally joyful value for money.

- Air-conditioning - might be an issue during a heat wave in Summer, but we survived on a fan (supplied by hotel).

A family owned Hotel run by staff who really care. Excellent English. First class location for walking into Lubeck and picking up a map at the Tourist office across the bridge. Despite an overnight visit we managed to see most of it in the evening before dinner. There is a bakery around the corner to supply filled rolls for lunch (and even breakfast but not that day). The hotel breakfast is truly comprehensive and we kept discovering more items tucked away (cooked sausage, bacon and scrambled egg under a cover). We had planned to eat fish and chips outdoors across the road but were too late so settled for the donner place next to the hotel. Parking? Don't rely on street parking. It's worth the parking fee just to enjoy seeing the car disappear into the lift. Drive straight in from the road and unload your luggage in the courtyard. The receptionist clearly relished demonstrating the system while the others had coffee and cake in the lobby. Great honesty bar with books and convivial meeting space for fellow travellers.

felt like a home away from home. staff so friendly. I had a major predicament looking for a place to stay at 10pm at night. I had booked for the day after instead of the night I needed. She sorted an available room for me and it was the most beautiful suite with a complimentary mini bar. breakfast was amazing and the restaurant felt so fun and homely. in the reception area there’s bottomless sweets that took me back to being a child. 😝😝 I loved it that much that I booked another room in hotel. this time a solo room on top floor still really comfortable can’t wait to come back.

Hotel location was really good. lovely old house, which has been decorated nicely. Only 7min walk from the train station and about the same to the town. Bicycles were good and easy to adjust to the prober height. By riding the bicycle it was fast to go to places and in the city there were a plenty bicycle racks where to park the bicycles. Breakfast was awesome. The selection was really good and area comfy. The staff were really nice, polite and helpful.

carpeted floors is not really my thing, but they were clean and those also soften walking sounds from the hallway so it was ok.

Both ladies at the reception were super nice and helpful. Room is very cosy and comfortable, well thought through, with enough storage space, armchair, very nice, new looking and clean bathroom. Tea, coffee and sweets are available all the time, though not on the room. Location is great as well, very close to railway station and ZOB, only few minutes from historical city center. I am very happy with my stay here.

It is a bit loud from the road outside, nothing that would cause trouble sleeping, but very light sleepers as I am, might appreciate earplugs for full comfort.

Early check-in with a smile. Small, friendly, family run hotel. At least we thougt it was. It could've been in any german Dorf, with the locals and restaurants for the locals in the neighbourhood. Close to Hbf. and touristized Lübeck Alte Stadt. Meticulously clean and all Covid-19 measures taken. Surprisingly wide variety at breakfast and not just variety but also quality. Also very good coffe – and free – anytime + free sweets, smågodt, godis, slik, Süßigkeiten. A bed for my liking, not to soft.

The only thing we really missed was a small fridge in the room.

Thé hôtel was well positioned and the staff warm, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices and the atmosphere in the dining room was so welcoming. We enjoyed meeting Norbet and Lenny and wish all at the hotel well. Thankyou.

Good location near the Old Town and Gates. Parking garage inside the yard - looks that very rare option in Lübeck centre. Helpful staff, excellent breakfast. Self cooked waffles with cherryes. Well equipped and nice designed room. 20 minutes to drive from/to Skandinavienkai ferry terminal. Really cosy and nice Hotel!

Boutique hotel within walking distance to the Holstentor, ornate and historic city centre. Very friendly and attentive staff, excellent accomodation facilities modern and new. The breakfast was substantial with excellent variety, catering for all tastes. Highly recommended
