The grounds and food service were superb

Wifi was non functional in the room...worked in the lobby where it was better.. When I asked the front desk if it could be improved?, she responded, " I have heard that it's not working well from other guests.... There must be construction." There you have it. The beds and bathroom were clean, but the housekeeping staff had missed the children's fingerprints all over the windows, some previous guest put smacks on the inside of the TV console...as the residue was still there, and when I moved a chair, there were left over potato chips underneath. Looked OK on the surface, not well cleaned or detailed.

The hotel is set in wonderful parkland on the outskirts of Magadaburg, the rooms were tasteful decorated and furnished as a late 18th/early 19th century spar. We had a big bathroom and a lovely room in the eves of the building. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of items and the swimming pool and sauna were well appointed. Though the pool was a little small.

We would liked to have eaten dinner in the resturant but it was fully booked. It would be useful if guests could be advised of the need to book in advance as this avoids disappointment. Car parking was very tricky and we had to park in the paid carpark as all the free spaces were taken. Its was a little annoying to find that the hotel had an EV charging point (which we could have used) but it was not clearly signposted.

Beautiful setting, being right by the park. Convenient for the tram into town. Our room was a good size, with a/c which was useful because of the warm weather. Huge choice at breakfast.

One issue was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We were told if we wanted a coffee, we had to buy one from the restaurant. Despite the huge choice at breakfast, both the croissants and the rolls were somewhat stale. Really surprised at this, because the hotel has a very upmarket restaurant.

The location is magnificent, the park and the Elbe just lovely. I had a very nice and relaxing stay.

Paying extra for pool at a hotel or this class is very strange - and even stranger is that one doesn’t get slippers so everybody enters the pool with outside shoes. The 2 ladies at the reception were friendly, professional and helpful but most of the restaurant staff needs training. When checking out, I checked under the bed to see if nothing was left there… - and there was: about 5kg of dust and dirt, the amount of it seemed like nobody cleaned there at least since pre-Corona. Since there are no stores around, it would be really great if the hotel had some vending machines, or a small store with drinks and snacks.

Location and building is very nice. Park is big and pleasant to walk or stay in. Is around 10 min from autostrada, so is an option for a nice brake. Breakfast is ok, a lot of choice.

There is no information that if you travel with a dog, you may be not accepted by hotel, as dogs are allowed only in rooms without carpet. Of course there is a limited number of it. We book more comfortable room, but to stay with a dog, we had to accept a bit lower standard and is not mentioned anywhere. As well hotel has just a few baby beds, so if you will not reserve it a lot before, is a high chance that you will not get it. Hotel offers dinner buffet, but is a lot overpriced for what you get.

this hotel is very well located in quiet country area . Not really easy to join from yhe highway Hannover to Berlin , but this is a small effort . Room and all equipment are is a perfect cleaned statement .

some furniture would have to be renewed , they don't stick with the standing of a 4 stars Hotel . Same for the breakfeast which is costing a lot with not a very large choice . This really would have to be improved

we are used to get a stop there when we are travelling trough germany and this has been always a very nice experience. Hotel is veru well located , furniture are not new but very clean as well as the room ; staff is also always very helpfull . Unluckily we have no times enough tp stay longer than one night .

Breakfast price is really too high compare with what it is proposed

Beautifully located in a park, far from the city centre. Streetcar stops around the corner.

Nice, but relatively small indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam bath at additional cost. Airconditioning on the top (4th) floor can hardly keep up with outside temperature over 27'C.

Pleasant hotel, art-deco style, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very friendly personnel. Good restaurant. Spacious room with needed facilities. Bathtub was a plus when travelling with a child.

Bed was quite big but not very big as marked. Breakfast was good, quite diverse, but not exceptional- 21 euros is a lot to pay for it.

Great hotel in a beautiful location with lots of greanery Food in a restaurant was a bit pricey but tasty and fresh Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We'll probably come back again.

It was very disappointing that the swimming pool is not free for the hotel guests and you have to pay extra per person to use the pool and spa!
