As a chain hotel brand, the room delivers what you expect. Enough room for your luggage and proper space for working. The room is also quiet, although it's right next to the track of the central station, you don't hear anything through the night.

Small thing to complain, the cleaning lady knocked the door really early (around 8:30 am) and then just opened the door directly. Luckily I was already awake and well dressed, otherwise it would be an awkward situation. The checkout time is 12:00 pm, so I have no idea why they wanted to clean the room so early.

Location is great, the airconditioned rooms are very well renovated (the new bathroom style is lovely), the location at the central train station is great.

Not all of the towels were available for 2 people in one room - only one bath towel and one hand towel. There was a tear in the bed covers. The small fridge was not working - even though all of the snacks are available downstairs, being able to keep a bottle of water cold would be nice.

This applies to all Intercity hotels ( I also used the one in Ulm on the same trip ). For a mid to upper range chain they are uniformly clean modern and welcoming, a pleasure to use. Prices are very reasonable for what you get.

As with most of Germany, check whether the city is hosting a "messe" or trade fair, these being frequent across the country. On these occasions, perhaps obviously, prices go sky high, well beyond a tourist budget (well, mine anyway!) Minor moan, no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

The room was comfortable and the window can be opened for fresh air. The fridge is at waist hight, so no bending required!

The air quality in the bathroom was not good, the extraction fan did not work straight away when the light was switched on. Leaving the light on for 30 minutes did help greatly. Also there was not a kettle in my room although one is shown in the room photo

Stayed at this hotel 13 years ago. Good then, and much modernised now. If you are on a journey involving Magdeburg station, this is a great place, the station is only 100 metres away. Staff very helpful. Walking round Magdeburg is interesting. I would recommend the no 9 tram, Neustadt to Reform, to see interesting sights. The Rathaus restaurant is excellent with reasonable prices.

The location is ideal it is right outside the train station and has very good soundproofing.

We did 4 nights and there was no supervision from the cleaning staff if we need towels or anything else. Disposable slippers would be also good. 👍

Room was nice and clean. Location was very good. Their parking was not well marked so I ended up parking in a parking builidng.

TYpical German staff. Not unfriendly, just not... just German. Parking lot was not well marked so I couldn't find it.

Very good location by main station and just a few minutes walk from the city centre.. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly attentive staff

smokers right outside main door. Hotels really have to gry yo grips with this. It is very unpleasant for non-smokers

The location, next to central station, is perfect. Staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. Stayed only 1 night and left before the restaurant opened so can't comment on that. The room, despite being next to the tracks, was very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is located very close to Magdeburg hbf. The staff is good. The place, despite it is close to hbf, was very quite.

Room is very small. The toilet smells. No cleaning staff came around during 3 nights of stay.
