Fantastic location within a short (5 minute) walking distance to the main area of town. Also, there's a grocery store directly across the street which is very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful with parking info etc. Our room was clean with plenty of space and huge balcony with amazing views of the town and surrounding mountains. The hotel also provides an indoor pool and sauna which is nice for relaxing after a long day. The hotel has limited free parking, but there is a huge parking lot across the street that is free during the evenings and relatively cheap during the day. Great hotel with a great location.

The hotel is located across from a beautiful view of the Karwendel alps, with lots of outdoor seating and very friendly staff. The hotel is located very close to the Main Street of Mittenwald, and only a short walk away from the beginning of the Karwendel Bahn and the start of other notable hikes in the area. A bit outdated, but charming with very kind and accommodating staff members. We would absolutely stay here again!

Mittenwald is a beautiful town and Alpenhotel Reiner is really central to it all . The hotel owner ,reception staff and chef were incredibly helpful and half board was great value .We are vegetarians and they made sure we had a vegetarian option , even making pasta for the children .Breakfast was great too .The pool was large for a hotel pool and open long hours . Bedrooms were really comfortable and roomy , with everything you needed . We had a wonderful stay - thank you Daniel and team for your kindness and hospitality .

One small issue was not being able to have tap water with our meal .

Good breakfast, comfy bed, room well set up. Location is amazing--just a few meters from the pedestrian zone and downtown area, also a supermarket right across the street is very convenient. Large city parking lot facing the hotel, but the city lot is only free in the evening/night. The hotel does have a few of it's own parking spaces, but they are limited. Staff were friendly and helpful.

As other reviewers mentioned, the wifi was difficult at best. Ended up sitting in the lobby for wifi, and even then it still cut out often...but since I read the reviews I knew this going in and adjusted my expectations accordingly. Just mentioning it here to confirm the situation....overall I had a great stay at this hotel. The only negative was that my window opened on to a back alley where people take smoke breaks...and one wouldn't want to close the window in summer here.

We stayed here twice, once at the beginning of our three week trip to Europe and stayed, again the last two nights before flying home. Both times, the staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nice to have a parking area for the cars. Our room was nice, clean and very quiet. Due to Covid we did not eat breakfast when there, so cannot comment on that. Nice location as well, as a grocery market was across the road and the charming village itself a short walk, with cute shops, nice places to eat and just a charming atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to traveler's.

Internet was slow, which would not have been an issue, but as a US citizen having a mandatory "proctored" Covid test prior to flying back to the US while using the phone was a bit stressful as it was not working great while in "testing" process, but other than that, the internet was decent, so it really wasn't an issue.

Location was good, near the center, Rewe supermarket, 5 minutes from railway station. 15 minutes to waterfall. Single room had mountaing view. Brerakfast was really good with many different dishes. There is a safe and small fridge in the room. It was clean and comfort. Some people set on the armchairs near the hotel with glasses of wine and looked on the evening mountaing. Pictures of nature and mountains were great!

Hotel has indoor pool and sauna for use. Dinner added was amazing in particular last night buffet dinner with variety of local food and live music. Final dessert was a great surprise! Hotel is close to train station with just few minutes easy walk.

Perhaps it seemed that there's some renovation works during my stay. Also, soundproofing of wall isn't satisfactory.

There was so much room... We actually had a suite for just the two of us, which was more than we needed. There was plenty of storage space. The bed and pillows were comfy, and there was an option of ordering different pillows!

The atmosphere of the dining room at dinner time was a little like eating at a retirement home. There were only two options, and what we chose was definitely of the soft foods variety. The waiter was clearly overworked and a little resentful.

This is our second stay at this hotel in less than a year, and that should say a lot. Absolutely great value for money with an unbeatable location and view of the mountains. We were very happy with our room and the amenities provided (new big-screen TVs since our last visit!). Parking is easy and comfortable and the pool was great to swim in. The meals were tasty in a beautifully located restaurant but lacked a bit of wow factor (that's really minor). :)

The wifi had problems and kept on disconnecting us, so we preferred to use normal mobile data instead.

Perfect location in the heart of town. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Full points to them. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and had the amenities you need for a nice stay. The view out the window was just superb! The restaurant had to operate during covid restrictions and although the breakfast "buffet" situation is not ideal, the breakfast was tasty with a decent spread. Easy parking across the road in an underground garage.

The wifi speed was very slow and often it was better to switch it off and use your mobile data. The rooms certainly can do with a refresh of more modern furniture but it was still super comfortable and very clean. The TV in our room was quite old and we were not able to use a Firestick or similar streaming device on it. Then again, not much reason for watching TV with the great view out the window.
