Good location (walking distance to the center), great breakfast, nicely equipped gym, bar downstairs (overpriced a bit), clean and good size rooms, polite people at reception

Completely wild pool area, small pool with 15-20 kids in it every time we tried to visit it - definitely needs some changes, schedule or limitation for visiting

The staff was very kind, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was very good with various options for food and drinks we stayed for 6 nights and we paid for parking at the hotel 22 euros per night, we could find an empty parking space every night except the last one, so I had to park the car on the street near the hotel

the mini fridge in the room actually heats the cold drinks rather than cooling anything we booked this hotel because it had a swimming pool, however, we couldn't use it at all though it was open every day till midnight and the reason for that is two folds: 1) it is very small and so can be full if there are 8 people in it 2) it was very noisy as young children could enter whenever they wanted and stay until it closes and they would shout and jump and play with the water without any regard to others even if their parents are in the pool with them finally, the air-conditioning was not that good, it does the job but after turning it on for several hours

Hotel was in good shape, and had a nice decor and good facilities. Great central location, subway station, supermarket restarants etc. The staff were very very helpful in general. My daughter had sprained her ankle and they were very helpful with packets of ice. They also provided a wheelchair so we could actually carry on with on sightseeing. For this I am particularly appreciative. They were also good with general guidance and info about the city.

They have hard uncomfortable pillows and no option to exchange with softer or smaller pillows. My first night was very uncomfortable and then I had to make do by using towels and T shirts. If they can fix this they would be perfect. The toilet was separate from the bathroom ( both ensuite) and toilet had no water tap this was a little inconvenient to then go to the bathroom to wash hands.

The staff were incredible, so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the beds were spacious and comfortable. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station and roughly a 20-minute walk to Marienplatz for those who like to explore on foot. The hotel lobby is very inviting, the dinner and drinks were beautiful. We travelled as a family with 3 children and enjoyed the experience very much. Munich is an amazing city!

Our only complaint would be that there were no English channels on the TV, which is understandable but when the ipad was flat at night, it proved difficult to entertain the children.

The pool was great (for the kids not least), plus gym/sauna. Good sized room. Friendly reception and restaurant staff. Good location close to the old town, and transportation. Quiet neighbourhood. Great restaurant food (maybe the best ever wiener schnitzel, and I’ve had many, incl in Austria). Great local restaurant nearby, open all day and a “must book”: Wirtshaus in der Au. Plenty of outside seating.

The toilet being separate from the bathroom, when it’s got no sink. The room wasn’t made up even late in to the afternoon. Hard to get staff no doubt. Often long queues at the reception area too. About time, generally, to have check in done fully automatically. Also, booking.com needs to make sure all relevant data incl passport number etc is fully transferred to the property. Feels archaic and a waste of time in 2023 having to put pen to paper when checking in.

Very good location, just across the bridge from the Deutsche Technishe Museum, also a short walk to city center. Good parking garage (although some reviews said they were narrow - we have a large car, they were more than enough). Standardized Novotel service. Coffee in the room.

There was no washing basin in the toilette, you had to go to the bathroom to wash your hands. Very bad mobile (roaming) connection in the hotel (worked fine in Munich in general). It was so bad that I could not open practically any web-pages. I cannot understand why it did not work in the hotel, but worked fine otherwise.

Location was close to our points of interest and S bahn. Lively hotel throughout the day with great breakfast and a decent restaurant.Very helpful and kind staff. The room was bright and clean and had a small fridge (fits e.g. 2 water bottles).

Room was a bit small for family of 4. The couch was transformed to a bed (which is fine/expected) but then, there was literally nowhere to sit or barely any space to move around. There was no chair left, only a small coffee table available, the closet was kind of small and the room for our baggage and us walking was quite limited. It was obviously a double room (which would have been fine) but in our case, 2 adults and 2 children, it was a bit squeezed. Perhaps other rooms are bigger? In any case, we were just visiting the hotel for resting, but it would be nice to have a slightly more comfortable room.

- There is a gas station with a convenience store next to the hotel, and it was convenient to be able to procure light meals and drinks at relatively low prices. - A taxi is stationed at the Holiday inn of the hotel next door, which was easy to use. (Although I could have called Novotel) - We stayed for 2 nights, but the beds were made and cleaned every day, so it was comfortable. - We liked that the toilet was separate from the shower room. - For 2 adults and 2 children, the sofa bed was a little small, but it was acceptable.

- One of the elevators was out of order and we had to wait a very long time each time. (Reluctantly we used the stairs) - Although the hotel is not responsible, the tram and S-bahn were both under construction and could not be used, so access to the city was inconvenient. -I felt a little unclean because the trash was not covered with a prastic bag and the trash should be thrown directly. - The waterproofing of the partition of the shower booth is rough, and it is easy for water to leak outside the booth and get the mat wet. It should be improved.

The hotel has many spacious elevators so moving around was nice. Rooms were always clean and the breakfast was fabulous. In the lobby, they even had a small corner for kids to play in which we absolutely loved.

Our toilet room had spider webs on the ceiling and spiders on the wall! It seemed that even though they clean the toilet, they forget to clean the ceiling. Because I’m afraid of spiders, I had to check the walls on a daily basis so that my husband could safely remove the spiders from my sight.

We expected the breakfast to be high standard, but what we experienced exceeded our expectations: there is practically everything one could desire for breakfast, from eggs and sausages to sweet cakes, marmalades and yogurt. The swimming pool was also a great facility, we used it every single evening and only once we found it a bit crowded.

The room was a bit small, but this was widely repaid by the outstanding position, as the hotel is located 5 minutes walking from the Deutsches Museum and 10 from the Isartor, making it very quick and effortless to reach the city center.
