This is a fantastic hotel, perhaps the best-equipped hotel we have stayed at. We traveled as a family with three children, and the rooms were simply amazing with a view of the bay with boats. The staff was perfect. The hotel is in the best location you could ask for in Potsdam, within walking distance of all the important centers of the city. We highly recommend this hotel.

Can't think of anything specific. Everything was beyond our expectations. At the same time, it is important to say that the hotel does not have air conditioning. There is a system that constantly keeps the temperature in the rooms at 25 degrees. Therefore it is not hot in the rooms.

Everythink, well equipped kitchen, washing machine in the appartment, iron and ironing board as well. Large windows-a lots of light. Quiet place, nice neighborhood, bistro downstairs. Garage next door.

I had to have couple of zoom mtngs and I would appreciate stronger wifi. Also the bedroom part of the appt is without a window, so if the sliding doors are closed, it blocks air circulation. Sliding doors do not provide enough noice barrier if I had to work from early morning and the other person wanted to sleep. However, it was my mistake as the floor plan is clearly displayed among photos. We are definitely coming back-I will just book 2appts.

The location was good. Our apartment was spacious, had a good view and good cross ventilation. Window shades and drapes were good at blocking light. There was a fan to keep the air circulating. The kitchen was nicely equipped; there was soap for the dishwasher. Also there were complimentary bottles of water. The coffee maker was a Smeg drip machine and there were filters but no coffee. The washer/dryer was in a cabinet in the bathroom, and there were soap pods for use. (The machine in our apartment was a Hotpoint Ariston WDD 9640, if you need to download the instruction manual like I did.)

Although there was air conditioning, there appeared to be a limit on it, so we weren't able to set it to a comfortable level for the heat wave while we were in town. There was no night light in the bathroom, and it was pitchdark for a nighttime bathroom run. Simplified instructions for the appliances would be a nice touch. I realize the property has no control over this, but FYI, trash and recycling pick-up was at 6am, on 2 separate days, and will wake you up. The bedroom doors are sliding barn doors, which don't close completely.

Large room with beautiful view on the Tiefer See. I loved the location at the Schiffbauergasse, close to the city, in an attractive area with nice cafes (fabrikcafe) and really good Italian restaurant in the neighborhood, bio supermarket in walking distance. Tram station close by and rental bike station directly in front of the hotel. Hotel room and kitchenette were perfectly furnished for my stay.

The table and chairs are really nice, but chairs are very low and not ideal when working with a PC for a couple of hours.

Waveboard hotel is located 30min drive to the city center Berlin. The location is calm,quite and nice. We had enough lake view from our room. But there are other rooms directly located front of hotel. Ask them specifically if they are free. The stuff is friendly and always with a smile. We walked in the morning and in the evening around lake. We had all the basic equipment in the room , the room was big enough to host for 6 members family. Also perfect place for settling down, writing books,finishing incomplete thesis. You have balcony you have very broad lake view you have your cigar you have your drink what else do you want. :) Don't forget to order cappuccino in the morning thank you for those nice coffees. We used closed parking place and got discount card for that. But public parking place behind the hotel also can be used. I recommend this place if someone looking a good location, worth to money till every cent, it is 30min drive to center Berlin, perfect for short term or long term or using as business flat, mid stop for long distance trips, small or large family's. Great large apartment with views over a local lake, close to bus that takes you to train station very quickly and easily, with paths for biking or walking nearby parks, with a bicycle easy to get to other historic locations around town. Well equipped kitchen, came with washing machine and drying rack, very bright.

Can be a bit noisy at nights on weekends, holidays, but not that bad, and doesn't go that late.

The setting was beautiful and we could walk to a playground and swimming beach. Also supermarkets were close by. The apartments were modern and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful in communicating before we arrived. They were also helpful while we were there.

The upper floor apartments were bigger and had better quality appliances than our ground floor apartment. I think. that number 4 was the smallest even among the other ground floor apartments. Also the cooling system in no 4 apartment did not work as well as the cooling systems in apartments 10 & 14. There were not many restaurants close by.

Fully contained apartment. Kettle, toaster, DW, Stove top, large fridge and washer/dryer all included and used. Balcony with partial view was great. Black-out blinds and curtains were amazing. 3-point doors were excellent. Supplies provided. Instructions for W/D were greatly appreciated (in a variety of languages). Large floor fan was awesome! Nice wooden and tile floors. Location on lake was grand. Restaurant next door was excellent. Ordering breakfast breads was a nice touch. Could walk to Bio. Could walk to Dutch Quarter. Tram and bus easy to get to. Very nice accommodations over all. The machine for after hours check- in was perfect!

A/C was on the warm side so fan helped a lot. No shampoo. Bed was a little hard. Bedsheet was either flannel or badly pilled. Wished for a top sheet or light cotton blanket. Duvets are too hot in summer. Some mold in shower. No facecloth (wash cloth). No place to put open luggage - we used the floor. Got a little loud on weekends with lakeside location.

Great location just outside the main town, overlooking the lake. We stayed in an apartment overlooking the lake. The room was spacious with good kitchen facilities and a plenty of space. Reception staff were really lovely and helpful. Parking is available in the garage next door to the hotel but you can stop outside to load/unload bags. We found it ideal for visiting the sites of Potsdam and would stay here again without hesitation.

Very spacious and well equipped apartment. The location is excellent and a staff is amazing . The bathroom and the shower is also outstanding. Regular cleaning in every 3 days and safe garage for the car. Shops ( Bio/Lidl,Aldi ) are close the city centre is about 20 minutes by walk. The lake and the boat embarkment is just front of the building
